Dr. Duke Nguyen, MD

Not sure why there are so many haters on here? His staff seemed fine and provided good instructions, prep and next day tele-meeting follow-up. I only met Dr. Nguyen himself a few minutes before going under for my colonoscopy but he explained everything, asked for my consent, and answered any and all questions I had. You eventually have to go for a colonoscopy so you should use him!

AWFUL I had labs in early February and CT early March. I have no results. I can not get anyone to call me back. It goes to voicemail when I call. Nobody answers or calls you back .

He kept on cutting me of while trying to explain what i m complaining about Could not understand half of what he was telling me Office staff horrible Cant recommend him at all

Dr Duke Nguyen office has not concerned about the health for the patient. Today is the second time it happened for me. I made an appointment with Dr Duke for his consult May 13th 2019 at 9:15, until 10 AM they intent let me to consult with his assistant who I don't know and wonder whether this lady qualifies to replace for his as "specialist in gastroenterology" to treatment for me!

I found Dr. Duke Nugyn to be very thorough He is very knowledgeable. He explains everything. I had a endoscopy and a colonoscopy. He took the time to find things , other doctors might have missed. He documents everything. I am very pleased and on the road to recovery.

Dr Nguyen was my Gi doctor in 2006 when he was practicing in Roseburg Oregon. He had worked on me before 2006, when I contracted cholangitis following a gall bladder removal. When he saw that I needed more care than he could provide, he referred me to a gi dr. in Eugene Oregon who eventually sent me to Virginia Mason hospital in Seattle. He was a doctor who was compassionate and sincerely interested in me as a person.

This doctor's office staffs are horrible. They are rude, not politely with patients. The doctor is not nicer either, he looks at you like you are an idiot or something. I visit his office once and it is my first and last one. I am waiting 45 minutes to see him for 2 minutes and that is it. Doctor is too busy to review your medical report which is provided by family doctor. They do not care about patients!!

Took my 19 year old daughter to see Dr. Nguyen and we were very pleased. Yes, the wait was a bit long but, when don't you wait a an office appointment. Not once did Dr. Nguyen try to up sale us on services, products, or procedures. I would highly recommend Dr. Nguyen.

Wonderful! And got me very quickly, which was a big surprise. I'm feeling great due to his care and suggestions.

Very good cancer oncologists told me that Dr. Nguyen does a much more complete colonoscopy then 90% of other doctors due to his skill level. This saved my life as he found an early stage cancerous tumor in a location rarely visited by other doctors when they do a colonoscopy due to its difficulty. He also takes pictures inside the colon during the procedure, so if you have a future tumor, oncologists can compare before and after pictures from various years. Very valuable for proper diagnosis.

It might be true that only unhappy patients write reviews, but I had a really good experience with Dr. Duke Nguyen. He went above and beyond to help his patients. He would personally call your PCP and other specialists to discuss about your condition and get you the earliest appointment possible with the specialists. I highly recommend Dr. Duke Nguyen to anybody.

Woke up during procedure, I was in pain and saying ouch, the doctor didn't stop or acknowledge my pain.

Very mismanaged office . The wait is always at least 45 minutes long ! The doctor was rude to me and was upset because several of us were upset about having to wait 45 to 90 minutes to be seen with out being given an option to reschedule . This is a regular occurring problem with this office . Once I was able to go back I was seen by an incompetent PA who gave me someone else's test results and insisted that I had a procedure done when in fact I had not ! I was I fact correct ! It was horrible

Dr. Nguyen jumps the gun in assuming I need to take a medical procedure which I think it's unnecessary at the time, but he thinks I should do it. I had rectal bleeding several months ago, but it is now gone. He is also conservative at the same time when it comes to losing weight. I was offended at times especially when it comes to weight. I have been trying to do all the right things with the diet but my weight is slow in progression.
