In January 2025 Dr Madala saved me from getting unnecessary surgery and sent me to an interventionist at Stanford that was able to correct my coronary issues with cardiac catheter procedure. Dr. Madala took me in at short notice, and quickly diagnosed my heart valve issue. She referred me to a cardiac surgeon and within 2 months I had an open-heart surgery to replace my heart valve. She has been managing my condition post operatively and her whole team has been great. I can state without any hesitation that she is one of the best cardiologist. She is busy, because she is so good, so she may not be able to spend a lot of time with you, but that is because she is efficient and very good at what she does. If you are lucky, you will get her to be your cardiologist.

Ever hear the stories about young healthy and fit 20 something year olds that suddenly drop dead? That would’ve been me in 2022 had Dr. Madala not caught what was going on with my heart and saved my life.Fast forward to July 2024 because of unexpected circumstances beyond my control I needed open heart surgery AGAIN, and again it was the good doctor that caught what was going on and saved my life for the second time.She is not only the best and most caring cardiologist, but probably the greatest overall doctor I’ve ever met. I’ve never trusted any provider with my care like I do with her. She works real hard to see her patients’ needs met, so yeah, sometimes you can expect a bit of a wait during your appointments because everyone wants to be seen by her and she wants to make time for everyone. Trust me it’s worth it.

Dr Madala is one of the best cardiologist around. She is highly knowledgeable and is very thorough. She not only does series of tests to clearly understand the issues but also explains everything and does an in depth analysis. She provides a formalized detailed plan for taking care of the needed things. Patient , caring and very knowledgeable. She and her staff are the best.

She's an extremely intelligent doctor who is always current on the latest medical information and yet she is also a warm and caring person who makes you feel like you are the most important person in the room. Finally, she is our trusted source for any recommendations to doctors in other specializations. They have all been great! As a Cardiologist and advocate for your overall health, she can’t be replaced. We love Dr. Madala and everyone we know who knows her feel the same.

My husband and I are patients of Dr. Madala's and we feel she is amazing. She truly cares about her patients and their well being. She takes time to listen, respond to any questions I may have, and I have absolute confidence in her diagnostic abilities. She literally saved my life when during a visit at her office she discovered I had an aortic valve on the verge of failure. Within a week the surgery was performed by one of best heart surgeons in the country (according to U.S. News Health), a referral and friend of Dr. Madala. The surgery was a success as well as all my visits since then. I live in Idaho now and Dr. Madala is the only doctor my husband and I fly out to see for our follow-ups. During our last visit, we met two other people in her office who also flew out to see her. She’s that good. I owe her everything. It is very hard to find a doctor as great as Dr. Madala. If you are in need of a cardiologist, you needn't look any further. Dr. Madala will be your one and only.

Her office is a mess! Waited over an hour for my appt before I left! Dr Madala herself seems like a good, caring cardiologist, but she needs help in the office. Waited on hold 23 minutes to schedule my last appt and then when I actually went in waited an hour and still hadn’t seen the doctor so I left!

Having worked with Dr. Madala for several years now, I can attest to her knowledgeable care, skill set, empathy and compassion. Never have I encountered such a competent and committed physician and patient advocate. She has certainly saved my life, and more than once. She has introduced me to a higher standard of care, offered me and my family support and direction when I encountered a serious medical crisis overseas, softly soothed and reassured my young child when I was going in for a cardiac procedure, and she graciously referred me to another esteemed physician when something was outside of her scope of practice. All the while she maintained a radiant kindness and genuine regard that is ineffable. A millions thanks Dr. Durga Madala! I may have inherited some unforeseen cardiac issues, but you have stood by my side with unwavering support. Anyone with a negative comment about this doctor or amazing staff likely needs to revisit the golden rule and do a bit of introspection.

Dr. Madala has been my Cardiologist since 2003. I am ver fortunate to have her as my Cardiologist. She is not only an excellent Cardiologist but also a very caring and loving human being which makes her all the more appreciative. She takes great care of all her patients. She shows all the great qualities of an excellent physician by showing a lot of concerns, compassion and care for them. She has a very friendly staff. I have highly recommended her to all my close family and friends and they all have been extremely satisfied and have great regards for her. If I had to describe Dr. Durga Madala and her team in one word, it would be "exceptional." I have been with Dr Durga Madala for 12 plus years and since day one she has shown the care and compassion for not only just my heart health but overall well being. She truly puts the care into every possibility needed in getting treated and I feel like a family member. When I fell ill with COVID in October 2022 and landed in the hospital but in the Sacramento area, which is not a registered hospital for Dr. Madala, she made sure to call and check on me and worked with the local cardiology team in that hospital to make sure they had all information needed to help get myself well again and safely. I am a 35+ year Heart Patient with 12 of those years now with Dr Madala. In just over the last year she and her team have saved my life (again). I Went from scheduled for a very high risk 3rd Open heart surgery but thanks to Dr Madalas testing, recommendations and care she was able to Medically set me on a stronger path and diagnose a problem with my (3rd) Pacemaker/Defibrillator which was corrected. I now no longer have CHF. In my My Humble opinion Dr Madala and her staff are the kindest, caring, professional and knowledgeable Cardiology Team I have dealt with in the last 35 years of significant heart problems. Her staff always works with us to get meds straight and make the constant changes that are part of the medical management of CHF. They also work well with us on scheduling appointments that work for us since we are in Sacramento and she is adjacent to Good Sam. Last but not least Dr Madala and her team are awesome people who care for the patents and are fun to catch up with
