Dr. Dustin Lucarelli, MD

He was the surgeon that tried to do my mom's reverse colostomy, I waited 7 hours to be told that my mother got out of surgery. He never said anything to me and turns out my mom was in bad condition. I was told that by my grandma who ended up calling while I was still there as no one informed me. Then he made it difficult for my mom to get an appointment. When she finally made it he didn't listen to her or I at all. She was having a very hard time with her colostomy and was hoping to get it reversed. He examined her stomach and just concluded she was constipated. She ended up in the ER two days later, she had a distended colon and acquired sepsis because of that. She had a heart attack from it and lost most of her brain function. This man did not care to look in to her condition more and was ignorant to our concerns. He lacks bedside manner.

Not only does Dr. Lucarelli state this (title), but his staff is right there backing him up. I can't say enough good things about the way I was treated by everyone in his office. He did colon surgery to remove some cancer and did a wonderful job with his surgery assistant Callie. I recommend them highly. Cancer was removed and my lymph nodes are clear. The surgery was minimally invasive and I am healing nicely.

Dr. Lucarelli is sweet and nice and take his time to explain procedures to the patients. He is one of the kindest doctors I have ever dealt with. I would recommend him to any of my family or friends. Thank you for everything you do.

Dustin is a top notch general surgeon. After a thorough examination and diagnosis of my condition, he talked about available treatment options, and in a follow up 15min procedure, he took care of everything for me. Dustin is very personable, funny and a sweet heart who genuinely cares about the well being of his patients. I highly recommend him

This arrogant man does not listen to his patients. Less than 24 hours after a follow up appointment I ended up in an er with liquid spewing from my naval because he did not listen to my explantion of pain I was having. After three+ months of daily wound packing and being told my pain is normal I finally had my second opinion appointment. The original wound has enlarged, the original repair site is inflamed and infected, and after the repair is done I will no longer have a naval.
