Oh my goodness ! Where do I begin? At 36 years old with likely hereditary cataracts rendering me suddenly blind, with one especially complex mature cataract, four weeks of my life became total chaos. Endless doctors and appointments involving unsympathetic listeners who seemed not to care what I was presenting to them. Long story short, don’t go to a large eye clinic that sounds like “rue” Aka KU. BUT DO RACE TO HUNKELER! I was so incredibly surprised and happy beyond belief after multiple negative events to find everyone at Hunkeler —literally every employee — being kind and thoughtful and honestly treating me like family or a close friend. Having worked in health care on the finance side and seeing every angle, Hunkeler Eye Institute goes far above and beyond and gave me my life back.
