Dr. Duyen Nguyen, DO

My grandson has seen Dr. Nguyen since he was 3 years old, he's now 10 years old. Dr. Nguyen is like family, she's very attentive, caring, and goes above and beyond to help her patients.

Regarding Dr. Duyen Nguyen. If I could leave ZERO stars I would. We went in for my son who suffers from a gluten allergy. I'll start by saying that for a doctor who works with kids she did not engage in my 3 year old at all. He was so excited to see the doctor. She got to the room, she made minimal eye contact and sat down with her laptop and started reading. He went to her to say hi and show her his toy and said "hi! He needs a check up" She then COLDLY says "no, I don't want that" To be shot down and pretty much ignored, he was devastated. After that he did not want to stay. HE IS THREE. You can engage with him since he is the patient. Be kind. To him that toy was sick and you are a doctor. She then argues with me about the allergy. That she's never seen a child that has JUST a gluten allergy. That did not give me any confidence in her ability. She did not address any concerns I had about constant nose bleeds or eczema on his torso. SHE DID NOT EXAM HIM AT ALL!!! NEVER TOUCHED HIM. Gave us no tests. NOTHING! I asked about a skin test, I asked if we could do the blood test to see if his numbers have improved from last year. She said no we don't need to. When I asked why she just said it was not needed. HOW DO WE KNOW IF HIS ALLERGY IS IMPROVING??? She even was confused why we were even there to begin with. He has yearly allergy checkups, that's why. SHE WAS USELESS. I was so shocked when she left the room and said we were done. I paid my co pay (which I did not want to for that level of care) and left flabbergasted.

Dr. Nguyen is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. For starters, she had a student in the room with us and every time I asked her a question, she told the student to tell me. She claimed she was training him! If anything, the student should have only watched and observed, instead, Dr. Nguyen had the student to relay information to me…as if I wasn’t in the room. I had to even ask at one point if she was the doctor or was the student the doctor. In addition, I completed many pages of paperwork prior to seeing her and it was apparent during our conversation that she hadn’t read any of it! She spoke over me several times and was very aggressive. She even picked up her cell phone to text in the middle of me speaking to her about my issues. She’s was the absolute worse!!!! Her assistant Rahja was better than she was. Rahja was more attentive, caring and was patient with me. Dr. Nguyen clearly only cares about the money…her bedside manner is horrible! She’s was very arrogant!

Dr. Nguyen is very attentive and ran all the necessary tests for my son's allergies. He has been receiving shot therapy for about a year. He has no more allergy symptoms and almost all of his migraines are gone.

Very attentive and listened carefully to all my concerns. Seemed to truly care and explained treatment very well. Actually it was a great experience not only doctor but all the staff including the people I spoke to on the phone. I think they really go the second mile to be helpful.

Dr. Nguyen was so attentive and concerned and did everything she could to help me. The best doctor I have ever experienced. The nurses also was the same. Everyone made me feel welcome and secure and they did everything to help me and get to the source of the problem. Definitely recommend!!!!

Dr. Nguyen is amazing!!! She’s a very kind and caring doctor who really wants to help and always hears what I have to say and never makes me feel rushed. Dr Nguyen has been very thorough in evaluating and treating my allergies and asthma. I am so blessed to have found such an intelligent caring doctor such as Dr. Nguyen. Everyone that works at this location is exceptional!!!

My visit was great with the doctor and assistants. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I took a night to fill out all the forms online and clicked submit. When I get to the appointment The person in the front tells me that they do not have my paperwork in the system. So guess what, I had to still there another 45 mins filling out forms. Otherwise, everyone treated me with kindness and were professional.

From check-in to checkout and all points in between very professional with little to no wait.

My husband and I came in to get some general + food allergy tests completed. Dr. Nguyen and her staff were polite, professional, made us comfortable, and explained every step of the process. I kept messing up on a test for asthma which was causing me to have to restart the test, but the nurse was so patient with me even when I was getting frustrated with myself. Thank you, all!

Dr. Nguyen has always been very thorough and great in making you understand what is going on and what is the action plan. My kids are very comfortable with her. Our pediatrician also highly recommended Dr. Nguyen. You have a reason why you are looking for an allergy/ent doctor, you will not be disappointed with Dr. Nguyen. They have multiple locations too in case you need flexibility.

Dr. Nguyen is knowledgeable, kind & caring. We only see her once a year but she always seems to remember my daughter’s personality & interests, not just her allergies. In addition to being a highly competent physician, she has a great bedside manner and treats patients like family.

Dr. Duyên is very friendly and take time to explain the health conditions of patient. I would recommended her to anyone I know. Thanks for your kindness and patience

Dr. Nguyen was the only Dr out of many that I saw that actually listened to me talk about my symptoms and gave me a chance to try another medicine. It worked, cured my vocal issues and I got my my voice back! I can’t thank her enough!! She truly cares about her patients and helping them. I was so hopeless and was out of all options. She truly gave me my life back! Thank you Dr. Nguyen!!

Dr. Nguyen has helped my daughter and I control our allergy and asthma since moving to Houston/Katy. Dr. Nguyen and her staff been very helpful and I would recommend her 100%

She explained a lot and made sure I was comfortable with the answers she provided for my daughter. She eased my worries without rushing. My daughter liked meeting Dr. Nguyen too!

She is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and caring for her patients. She represents what all American doctors should be: caring, considerate, skillful, and intelligent. Our son has had multiple issues with allergies for years on in and since been treated by Dr. Nguyen, he is allergy free. I can't say enough about her and her team. I highly recommend her to anyone with allergies and immune issues.

I brought my son to see Dr. Nguyen to get an allergy test done. The staff was nice, but the doctor had a nasty, condescending attitude. She seemed annoyed by my questions and kept making faces at me as if I was asking dumb questions. I don't care if you have "MD" after your name, you should treat people with respect. I wouldn't recommend her - very disappointed.
