For a year and a half I was Dr Bekteshi patient. Though I felt he was proactive in my treatment, l never felt I was getting all the options for my pulmonary fibrosis. When a growth was discovered on my CT scan to have slowly grown, he suggested a biopsy. My son, also a physician felt my wait for a scheduled biopsy could be expedited via his connections so, if this was a malignancy it would be treated as quickly as possible. That biopsy was not through Dr. Bekteshi. I a week later received a call from Dr. Bekteshi scolding me for not having him do the biopsy. He was rude and dismissive. That for me settled it, I was done.

First time here and I walked out of this doctor’s office without being seen due to the professionalism. It took weeks of calls to finally get through to someone to make an appointment, then it was scheduled for two months later. I found out the day before that the appointment time that I was given was incorrect. I was told that I would receive a paperwork packet, but when they mailed it to my doctor's address instead of mine. Okay, mistakes happen. Upon arrival, I paid my copay, and I was handed a stack of paperwork to complete, which was particularly challenging as I suffer from severe arthritis. Which is why receiving the paperwork packet beforehand would have been helpful – more time and my husband could help. I was led to an exam room to fill out the paperwork and the door was left open. The front office staff were engaged in such loud arguments, it made it difficult to concentrate. Even worse, part of the yelling was over not wanting to call a patient and refusing to stay after work to deal with them. I decided it was best to leave as I did not feel comfortable or safe with this office handling my medical care. Dr. Bekteshi walked in as I was preparing to leave, when told of my decision to leave and not come back, he seemed indifferent, unsurprised and unconcerned. For all I know, Dr. Bekteshi may be a good doctor, but his practice severely lacks professionalism and organization. The one positive was the Medical Assistant, Anthony. He was professional and kind.

I met Dr. Bekteshi during a hospital stay and I personally like and respected his care during my hospital stay. However, upon leaving the hospital, after Dr. Bekteshi had performed a procedure, I was totally unable to get a single response (after 3 attempts) from his office staff to schedule a follow-up and understand the results from the procedure. Totally unacceptable performance by his office staff and thus I will never allow Dr. Bekteshi to be involved in my medical care.

Very, very poor bedside manner. I waited 6 weeks for appointment for an arrogant jerk to not listen to my concerns. What an awful person. I felt as though I needed to be in SEVERE respiratory distress to get some acknowledgement . I made my appointment, waited MY turn in line to be dismissed like “I” did something wrong. Will not return and will not pay bill. I get you’re exhausted from the pandemic but WOW.

He was there for my family during the pandemic. He saw my mother at bedside in the hospital, and relayed information of care back to us. It was very difficult to have a loved one in the hospital, and family was unable to visit. Dr Bekteshi will hold a special place in our heart!

Wonderful doctor, great office staff. Dr Bekteshi has an amazing bedside manner and was very direct about his opinions and recommendations for my condition. He worked cooperatively with my cardiologist and oncologist to share information and have a treatment plan agreeable to all. I am grateful to Dr Bekteshi for his care and compassion.

I had to go into the office just to make an appointment because no one would ever can me back. Dr. Bekteshi doesn't even have an MA. His own wife took me into a room and took my blood pressure etc. She was wearing jeans and a silk top With ballerina slip one shoes - extremely unprofessional in my opinion. However she did at least spend more time with me than the Dr even did. The office seemed very unorganized. What little staff was there seemed very stressed. Overall unprofessional environment. I will NOT be going back

He and his medical assistant were both very rude. Also, you can never get in to see him when you need him. In her own words, they double and triple appts. Instead of focusing on why I was there, they both wanted to focus on the fact that I missed a follow up appt, TWO YEARS AGO, when I was finishing up chemo, having surgery and starting radiation.
