Poor annual physical exam
This doctor was very poor in providing the basic needs considered for an annual physical exam. She communicated minimally! There were no questions asked about anything and the physical examination was just about non-existent! I have no idea how a doctor could get away with doing so very little for an annual exam!!!

Wonderful Dr
I have been a patient of Dr Nordstrom's for the past 3 years and she has always been very welcoming, pleasant, and good about explaining the medical why behind decisions, medications, or questions I have asked. She is open to my thoughts and suggestions about different medications if something is not working for me. I lost my health insurance during the pandemic, and she was extremely good about working with me to help me continue my medications at lowest cost until I was able to get insurance again. For the folks on here who complain about not being listened to, it is helpful to keep in mind that doctors are stretched for time with patient demand and having a quick synopsis ready of your ailments and what you hope to achieve from the visit is helpful. Patient's listening to doctors is also essential and asking questions about the medical science of their decisions is more helpful than trying to compare their answers to something you read on Web MD. Thanks, Edra, for your service.

Arrogant. I brought in a list of symptoms/health issues, asking if she could review with me and explained it would give her some insight to maybe what's occurring with my health and save her time so she wouldn't have to ask many questions. She retorts, "I'm not going through everything on your list! My time is VALUABLE here." (Whoa - as if my time isn't valuable? Hey Doc - didn't you join the medical field in order to treat patients? My LIFE is valuable.) She adds angrily, "What's the main reason you're here for?" I explained and she replies, "You have fibromyalgia and inflammation." She told me something I already knew for 30 years and I asked her what the root cause could be - probably some deficiency. She then asks me several questions and the answers were on my list! She added that she wanted me to have labs and the labs she suggested were ones I just had two weeks ago. She needs to listen and read instead of getting impatient.
