Dr. Eduardo Bustamante, MD

my husband had appointment with Dr Bustamante yesterday, he is a compassionate caring practitioner. I am a nurse case manager and I know who is good and he is definitely the right stuff. Its difficult moving to a new state and having to establish yourself with new doctors. Make this Doctor your ophthalmologist you will not be disappointed. He will be preforming my husbands cataract surgery in the future and I have the greatest of confidence it will be a good outcome.

It was a pleasant experience from the beginning to the final exam. Dr. Bustamante is very knowledgeable, he never seems rushed and explained everything thoroughly. The entire staff working at St. Lucie eye are friendly and professional, I highly recommend Dr. Bustamante. I jokingly said it’s like it’s like a finely tuned machine at the practice, they all work so well together.

I am so glad Dr Bustamante performed both of my challenging cataract surgeries. he informed me what could go wrong, but left me feeling positive about the outcome. Both surgeries went great. I am so grateful that Dr Bustamante was my surgeon.

I am a 78 year old female patient of Dr. Bustamante. He recently performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. My situation was special because I had shingles in my right eye years before, and that condition had scarred my cornea. This meant that the removal of the cataract in my right eye would be more complicated than usual. Dr. Bustamante and his staff were amazing. Besides being knowledgeable and skilled professionals, they were also very caring and supportive. I am a native Spanish speaker, and knowing this, Dr. Bustamante, who is also bilingual, took the time to explain the whole procedure in Spanish to my husband and I and answered all our questions. This made us feel more at ease. The Treasure Coast community is blessed to have such exemplary professionals. May God bless Dr. Bustamante and his staff.

I was a former technician with Dr “B” (I resigned to pursue a diff path in healthcare)… I cannot imagine trusting my eyes to anyone else other than Dr “B”, Dr Rana or Dr Karli. The clinical team for each Dr are educated, caring and trustworthy. YOUR needs will be priority during your appt. I definitely recommend entrusting your vision with their vision for SLE! There really is an Eye in team!

Recently at a routine eye exam, a small growth had developed just 2-3 days prior which had grown in that short time. On a Friday everyone wants to finish & go home, right? …but Dr Bustamante & his staff offered to remove it at the end of the day. I returned & it was removed & sent to the lab to be sure that it was nothing more than a papilloma. This ‘going beyond’ is so typical & I highly recommend Dr. Bustamante & his staff.

When Dr. Langley retired, I thought I could never find another doctor who was as caring and professional as he was. But Dr. Langley assured me he was leaving me in good hands with Dr. Bustamante. After seeing Dr. Bustamante several times, I agree with Dr. Langley that I am in good hands. Dr. B is very professional and he also makes me feel that he cares about my eyes as much as Dr. Langley did. He will sit and talk with me after a visit if I have any questions and he actually looks at me as a person. I have recommended Dr. B to some friends already and I know with confidence that they will feel the same way about him as I do.

A very pleasant experience. Dr. Bustamante explained the different options I had to help with dry eyes. I elected to have a tear duct plug inserted to help prevent my eye from tearing frequently. Was inserted yesterday, but I do notice a difference. Appreciated him explaining everything. The girls in the office were all great. I went to Dr. Langley for many years until he retired. Very satisfied with Dr. Bustamante. Thanks to all.

Dr. “B” makes you feel like you are the only Patient of the day! Not only is he a great listener, the compassion he shows is a gift- you can’t be taught how to genuinely care, it’s a part of one’s character! He was neat and confident in the diagnosis with my eyes. He is making sure that there is nothing wrong hidden in my eyesight causing my double vision. I feel confident in his decision and am glad to see him take it seriously.
