This was a very very long time ago. I Need closure for the way I have felt for years. At first I really liked Dr.Constantino. He took time to listen.i had a view visits with him until I told him I took a painkiller to sleep. Right away he said I was addicted to drugs. I only took one that was left for months in my cabinet. If I thought he would of reacted that way I would of never said anything. I was there crying for help I can’t sleep. It was just easier for him to get rid of me. Maybe because I was kinda suicidal at the time I guess he couldn’t deal with it. He recommended another place. That doctor told me I don’t belong in a rehabilitation for drugs or alcohol. What’s funny now is I see he treats addictions if it wasn’t so sad I would laugh. Destroyed what little self esteem I had. So I would give him 1star he was nice for those few weeks. And 3 for someone else as long as he don’t lie about your condition. He is thoughtful. Hope I can forget this now have some closure.

First off, I cannot imagine why anyone would give Dr. Eduardo Constantino, whose high levels of knowledge, skills, expertise and compassion are obvious, less than a "five (5) star" rating. As one of his inpatients who has a great deal of experience and credentials, I can assure every potential patient that Dr. Eduardo Constantino is "worthy of working with Dr. Sherman (high praise)." Dr. Constantino is fair, progressive and talented. He is also quite open-minded and sensitive to the needs of patients when they are most vulnerable. I thank him for giving me "the benefit of the doubt" as well as for his dedication and service. He is a credit to the profession of psychiatry. We need more inpatient psychiatrists in positions of authority like Dr. Constantino: happy holidays and may all be both physically and mentally well. Stay safe, "Greg"

I would give him 0 stars if I could! He was the attending in the ED. I was brought in for a medical reason and was treated like an addict. He lied about having spoken to my pain management team, and told me that he would not give me opioids because I got bad news. He totally misunderstood my rare disease.

Dr Constantino is a wonderful doctor and human being. He helped me through my many terrible issues after my dear husband died. He has a sense of humor and warmth that I will always appreciate. And he got me to function well again. Last fall I went all the way to Stoney Brook (from Manhattan) to see him again after about 14 years. He was just as sympathetic and helpful as he was before! This time it was the loss of my companion of 10 years. Dr Constantino was in my corner again to help!
