Great guy, but his mind has slipped in old age. Tells you he's gonna prescribe you something 10 mins later he don't remember saying it, tried to send me for the same mri everytime I went, I switched to Dr aubuchon at orthocarolina when I complained they said they were done with me, staff can't do their jobs because they're too busy covering for him. Great guy but needs to retire

I was lucky to be referred to Dr. Hill for an ailment my regular Dr. had no idea how to treat. He listened, then gave me a script for a medication that cleared it up in two days. After suffering 2 strokes, and having 2 hospitals run a myriad of tests only to say they found no cause for the strokes I asked to be referred to Dr. Hill again. The symptoms kept recurring and were keeping me from enjoying my former quality of life. He said, "It is unacceptable that we still don't know the cause of the strokes. We will find out." He did, and within a few days the symptoms that plagued me daily for more than a year disappeared and have not returned! I wish I could give an infinite number of stars. He listens, he takes notes, he cares, and he HELPS. I trust Dr. Hill and will gladly drive the 70 odd miles and wait as long as necessary in order to avail myself of his expertise and kindness. You might have to wait, but when it's your turn, he will take all the time he needs to be able to help you

Unprofessional, unkind, and unattentative to my issues. Ignored all of my problems and instead tried to force migraine medication (that I don't need) on me by citing that "those black athlete sisters use it." Bad experience, would not recommend.

My mother was transported by ambulance to Novant Hospital of Kernersville with severe and ongoing back pain. After more than 1/2 day of no communication and intervention, my mother was sent home with a diagnosis of a sprained upper leg muscle. After explaining our dire situation which had been ongoing for weeks, I was unable to get any assistance or compassion for my mother. I was referred to Dr. Hill of Salem Neurology who was compassionate, an excellent listener, and most importantly a doctor who acted with an extreme sense of urgency. Within two days, my mother was provided appropriate scans, medical tests, and was ready for surgery to remediate the severe, debilitating pain. She was diagnosed with a compression fracture and a total collapse of this area between L4 and S1 of the spine. This doctor took a personal interest by even calling to check on her and answering any questions that our family had. We could not be more pleased with this caring and effective professional.

I have been going to Dr. Hill for around 20 years. He has treated me after a car incident. He has treated my to determine carpal tunnel syndrome. He has treated me for headaches/migraines. He has treated me for determination of dizziness - brain lesion. I have been extremely satisfied with all treatments through Dr. Hill. I do agree that the wait time in the waiting, room as well as in the treatment room is very exasperating. I do recommend him to anyone. I do tolerate the wait just to be treated by him as I have that much confidence in his treatments. I have not had any issues with any of his staff, they have all been very courteous and friendly.

Dr. Hill is the most knowledgeable, patient, understanding and polite doctor that I have ever had the privilege to know. He is well worth the wait. He will take time to diagnose and make sure to answer any questions you may ask. I would highly recommend him. If you don't go to him, it's your lose.

My only complaint with Dr Hill was how long I had to wait to see him for each appointment but that’s because he spends as much time with you as you need and ignored that 15 minute rule insurance companies demand. I moved out of state three years ago and miss him every day. On my first visit he asked me to walk, when I did he said “it hurts to take every step. Doesn’t it” and I nearly cried because he recognized that. He is so kind, a wonderful human being as well as a fabulous doctor.

I have been a good g to SN for over 10 years. Dr. Hill is amazing. He is one of the best Doctors around. He has the best bed side manners if any doctor I've ever seen, however like most the comments are saying be prepared to wait for hours. I have also learned that his Assistant John is wonderful as well and there isn't much of a wait when seeing John instead of Dr. Hill. All the doctors are great. The staff isn't very efficient, they seem to be confused and not organized.

The wait time is terrible. Although personal touch is a bonus, the fact that an office expects you to sit 2-3 hours doesn't add up. It is obvious that this office is over booking and understaffed. The staff does an awesome job of helping you, but the physician yells out their names, is on his cell phone, nods off when talking to you and quite frankly can't handle the number of patients that are scheduled. It is ashamed that my time is not considered valuable.

I took my friend back in 2009 for Botox shot and meds. She is able to have a better quality of life because of Dr. Hill. my husband (disabled) is going too. I know he will help him. As I sit in the full waiting room there is always people (s) talking about how he help them when no one else could. I know to plan for extended waits as he takes the time necessary to completely formulate your plan of care. I have a hern.disc and will be seeing him soon. Highly trained staff. He does miracles w/ins

I have been a patient of Dr Hill for a few years now. Every appointment takes all day and the majority of your time is spent in the waiting room you wait more than an hour then they take your wt and BP and send you back out to wait for even longer again I rarely actually see Dr Hill they will tell me that my appointment is with him and then send in a PA. I don't get answers to questions and when I do see him he might spend 5 minutes in there with me.

Dr. Hill may be a gem, but his office staff is rude, and incompetent. They make and change appointments without notifying patients, over schedule appointments, and treat the patient like fools when they are confronted with their mistakes. Dr. Hill and his staff overbook appointments and then have patients regularly sit and wait over an hour to see him. Confirm appointments to be sure they didn't change it, but you will still have to wait and wait and wait...

Dr. Hill is remarkable and always worth the wait. He spends extra time with his patients that need it, which is rare. Dr. Hill is truly empathetic. He cares about his patients and the problems that they have. Dr. Hill takes the time to listen and address every concern. This is why the wait is long to see him; he spends the time that others need with him, and you can count on him to do the same for you. The staff are always friendly, just remember it's not their fault you're having to wait.
