Dr. Edward Himes, MD

Dr. Himes gave me the worst interaction I have ever experienced in the medical world in my life. He is an inpatient, unkind, down right unprofessional person. He should not be in this field any longer. He obviously cannot handle showing real human compassion and kindness to his patients and their families correctly. He honestly should be required to attend some sort of therapy or training sessions to fix this issue. It was sickening having him “help” us.

My experience with Dr. Edward Himes was extremely disappointing. He lacked compassion and did not address my concerns about my father’s care. He stormed into the hospital room with a negative attitude, making an already stressful situation worse. When I expressed that I felt he was being rude in his tone, he immediately clapped back, saying that I was the one being rude. Instead of listening and showing empathy, he was dismissive and unprofessional. A doctor should provide reassurance and understanding, but that was not the case here. I would not recommend him to anyone seeking a caring and respectful physician.
