Dr. Edward Lewiecki, MD

I have been seeing Mike as my primary care doctor for ~30 years. He has been a trusted advisor for both myself and my wife.

Dr Lewiecki is patient and easy to talk to I'm in a difficult age group where there is little clinical data to guide treatment.

Dr. Lewiecki is highly knowledgeable, thorough and an excellent communicator

Dr. Lewiecki explained my results; gave me appropriate hand-outs concerning it; and gave me orders for further testing to determine proper treatments to deal with the osteoporosis.

He took his time with me and didn't take a one-size-fits-all approach to treatment with medication. he explained things well, never made me feel rushed, and was not imperious or judgmental. He knows a lot about bones and is a top expert in the osteoporosis field. I only use medication as a last resort because of serious previous side effects. so he didn't push anything on me, although he gave me his strong opinions.

Dr. Lewiecki is very thorough and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with both him and his staff.

His office support staff is very professional.

Probably the efficiency of the visit was taken to exam room and MD was in there shortly afterwards, was very concerned and addressed the issues made recommendations and I was in and out with 30 minutes appointment was at 8:30 AM and I was leaving the office by 9:00 AM

Dr. Lewiecki took the time and was through regarding my health history. Asked questions other Doctors had not asked, enjoyed talking with him, made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Lewiecki and his office are very helpful - they describe everything that they do well and help with decision making. I had another physician because of osteopenia and found that she did not take time to discuss ways to avoid moving on to osteoporosis. Now that I have osteoporosis, I have been very happy with the information and treatments and my progress with the treatments.

Annual appointment for osteoporosis . . . he's always kind, takes time with patients, and very knowledgeable. (I just hope he doesn't retire any time soon!)

I have severe osteoporosis and have been a patient of Dr. Lewiecki’s for a little over a year. I will be moving out of the area to another state and had a phone consult with Dr. Lewiecki re: the next step for my medication and recommendations for another health professional in my new location. Dr. Lewiecki listened attentively, discussed various medication options with me, and during that conversation I felt that I made an informed decision about my future health. Within 24 hours, I had insurance company approval of this new med that would carry me through my stressful relocation AND had an infusion appointment sooner than I had expected and before my move date.This was all due to Dr. Lewiecki’s persistence and was vital as I am moving in a little more than a month.It is refreshing and important for me to feel that I have a Medical Professional on my side especially when going into new territory. Dr. Lewiecki talked to me in detail about my osteoporosis. He’s ordered tests & I go back in 3 weeks. I did not have to wait long before my appointment & I did not feel rushed. My previous doctor seemed ignore my symptoms. I’m very pleased with Dr. Lewiecki.

I have been seeing Dr. Lewiecki for over 30 years. He always explains the situation very well and what we can and cant do about something. This particular visit was to get a pre-op checkup. Not only was his office very helpful in working me in, but the visit was on time and thorough.

You would be hard-pressed to find a more knowledgeable clinician, MD in the area of bone health and osteoporosis treatment. Sr. Lewiecki listened carefully to my rumbling, and he did take my concerns (about a non-bisphosphonate med) into consideration and suggested an alternative path of treatment.What's really nice is that Dr. Lewiecki is willing to explain and discuss at length available meds, treatments and pro- and cons of alternative options. Also, there is plenty of really useful educational material in his office. And if some wants to dig deeper, I found many YouTube recordings, where he is either answering questions from his patient or give you access to professional level presentations. Very good 'bed-side manners.'

I am very disappointed. I called his office today, because my mom is very sick. I asked the front desk person if she could get a message to him, because my mom is sick. They recalled the shots she was taking and her calcium levels are low. I was told there was no way to get a message to him and they were closed tomorrow. In times like this, you would think they would be going above and beyond to ensure the wellness of our elderly parents. That was not the case today.

If they can NOT handle giving Standard Approved Medical Care THEN they have no business doing Medical Research on People! Run = RUN! BE CAREFUL! I have begun to feel as though these people sift through patients to find their 'Human Lab Rats' for Studies and nothing more! I saw a Doctor on the 10th August. They accepted me as patient THEN one month later after I have to fax letter in stating that I want Standard Medical Care and I dont want Studies = ONLY then do they call MY Care Coordinator to
