Dr. Edward Prins, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Prins for 35-40 years. In January I had a medical issue and I called to make an appointment. His nurse only was concerned with was if I had a Covid test recently, get tested and call back. I ended up in the er with a potential fatal diagnosis. Obviously I’m fine now but I have been leaving messages for Dr. Prins to call me back for 10 days. He has not called me back.

Dr Prins is a kind, caring, intelligent doctor. He takes the appropriate time to meet with me. He answers all of my questions and provides appropriate follow-up. He also calls to provide test results and to provide additional information as needed. I trust his opinion and I'm thankful that he is my doctor.

Lately Dr pins has been a little too friendly per his greeting. The last visit left me uneasy. I called his office to talk about some medication and the nurse refused to listen to me. I’ve been going to him for quite a number of years and it’s unfortunate that a nurse being so rude has made me decide to switch doctors

Dr. Prins is a good doctor but his billing department is incompetent and the mistakes they make end up being unfairly billed to the patient.

Dr. Prins is an excellent doctor and I would highly recommend him to family and friends. He has been my doctor for many years and he has always been very compassionate, understanding and thorough. Dr. Prins always takes the time to address any concerns you may have. Dr. Prins has an awesome staff that are always friendly and helpful.

Saw him many years ago and only once. First, he said I had leukemia (he was wrong) and then he accused me of biting my fingernails (wrong again). Then, he started spouting bible verses in the office. He totally creeped me out. I never went back.

Horrible medical practice. Withheld extremely important medical information from me, especially in regards to tests results. Told me I didn't have Lyme disease despite having a positive test result and then reporting that result to the CDC. Also, told me I had a regular heart beat when I actually have sinus tachycardia and POTS. Additionally, completely ignored my positive test result for Mycoplasma pneumoniae. When I had my my records transferred to a new primary care physician I found out.

He is such a nice guy. Very competent. Explains everything to you in non-medical terms. I'm guessing because of all of that, you have to schedule him a few days in advance.

Dr. Prins has a wonderful bedside manner. He is very caring and attentive to your concerns regarding your health. He takes his time to assess and therefore your never feel rushed through your appointment. His staff is knowledgeable and very well capable of handling the day to day tasks. It's always a great experience to deal with his office.
