Dr Song is a wonderful doctor! As my daughters put it he gives you the information shows you what you are dealing with from your scans and doesn’t throw in all the fluff!

Dr song always is upbeat and explains everything thoroughly. He treats patients with respect and shows compassion. I had a serious back issue and he performed surgery and fixed my spine. My quality of life is so much better and I would definitely refer anyone who needs help with a back problem to him.

This was a follow up visit on a Laminectomy and spinal fusion that I had in April. Surgery was wonderful and got immediate pain relief. Had and have recovery complications not related to what he did and he has been following through with progress. Today he put an order in for in house PT and OT since I am unable to walk without a walker nor can I drive. He is so caring about his patients.

Dr Song literally yelled at me during my consultation. All I asked him was if he saw the cysts and bone spurs that are on 2 different mri reports that I have., by TWO separate radiologists! Dr Song said my neck is fine and that my spine is fine despite having numerous diagnosed spine conditions. I have even had back surgery! He even said if I saw a mri of his neck that it's '10 times worse!'. He never even came into the room to see me at all, he had me go into the hallway to look at mri images. So our entire conversation was public and in the hallway. He has no professionalism and doesn't respect patient privacy! When he yelled at me I told him the appointment was over and to never talk to me or any patient that way! I can't believe this person is a real doctor and he gives all doctors a bad name. I am so upset! My consultation was about five minutes or less as Dr Song has no time to answer his patient's questions.

I waited almost 3 months to see Dr. Song, and was so excited about it! I thought finally this would be a Dr. that would be able to help with my back and neck issues. Sadly, it was probably the worst visit I've ever had with a Dr. He let me know that the surgery he would need to do would take me out for at least 6 to 9 months and the fact that I had fibromyalgia, it would take a year to heal, and it would be very painful! Say what? I asked if there was anything else he could do, and he replied I'm a surgeon, that's what I do Arrogant & had me in tears when I left the bldg....Wow, 3 month wait for nothing.

Dr. Song has fused my cervical and lumbar spine. He has exemplary bedside manner and is very honest about diagnosis and realistic outcomes. He reads all images himself as opposed to reading just a report. I am grateful He was able to conduct on-site images which allowed him to direct my care accordingly. I value his opinion and he is a master of his craft. I hold Dr. Song in high regards, as he changed my quality of life exponentially.

Dr. Song inquired where the pain was located and ordered some X-Rays and unlike other doctors he showed me the X-Rays so I could see the issue as well (That was a big plus, most doctors do not). He was able to come up with a treatment plan with a follow-up in the weeks ahead.

Dr Song was very highly recommended by several personal friends that are surgeons. Having friends tell me that they, personally, would not hesitate to have Dr E Song cut on them, goes a long way! They also said that Dr Song really knows his stuff and has also had a tremendous amount of experience. Definitely! I will be returning to Dr Song in the future, should the need arise.

I had been to a number of “top” neurosurgeons who thought they knew the source of my back pain only after numerous diagnosis and corrective surgeries. All of which were wrong and did not relieve the pain. Dr. Song was able to diagnose the source of my pain during my initial visit, and his surgery alleviated the pain. Dr. Song and his staff are very friendly, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. He runs his office very efficiently and is able to perform diagnostics test at his office. You don’t have to go to other facilities for things like x-rays, etc.. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Song!
