Did not spend very much time explaining the procedure or allow me to read through the consent form. After an approximately sixty-second explanation of the procedure for my emergency appendectomy, he then held out the clipboard for me to sign the patient consent form hastily. My procedure went okay, but there was no follow-up from Dr. Staudinger or information on how to care for my healing wound, when I could return to normal activity, etc.
