I first met DrWolin in the mid 1990s with metastatic Carcimoid. At Cedars Sinai LA, CA. Every other Oncologist told me nothing they could do. Dr Wolin knew Doctors doing chemoembolization trials. He set up appt with Dr Allen Hoffman doing trials at St Bincent Hospital Los Angeles. I had four treatments followed by 23 hours of surgery over two days. 90% liver removed, part stomach and small intentions, gall bladder and one kidney where they found kidney cancer during surgery workup. In a couple of months I will be 80 years old. He was the only Carvinoid doctor the Carcinoid foundation and Dr Warner would recommend for me on this half of the US. How do you thank a man who allowed you to see your kids graduate college, get married, have grandchildren who are now in college when every other Oncologist said there were no treatments. Along with being an incredible dedicated oncologist he was an incredible human being. I remember him running in the LA Marathon every year. First year he showed up in jeans and was talked into changing in into shorts. His signature attire was bright shirts and always really interesting ties. He is a one of a kind type of person and I remember him often while I feel beyond blessed to have met him and given so much more time to enjoy life and watch my family grow and know my grandkids. Thank you Dr Wolin for being the incredible human and doctor youv are. Carolyn Woolman. Diamond Bar, CA

Excellent oncologist
Excellent doctor, very personable. Dr Wolin is the top NET oncologist in the US. Treats NET exclusively, and conducts NET research and clinical trials in addition to seeing patients. Answers questions clearly, is proactive re: scans/bloodwork and treatments, and is optimistic re: survival rate. Great bedside manner, cheerful, approachable, and has an excellent team who answer questions promptly.
