Dr. Efrain Garcia, MD

I visited today with flu symptoms. The staff treated me throughly and with care. Nurses are outstanding and Dr Garcia is amazing.

I've had my share of doctors over the years who really didn't think I had a clue about my health or my medical history. Dr. Garcia, is NOT in this group. I honestly believe he may be the best physician I've had in the past 25 years. I always feel like he listens and cares. He has recommended me to three different specialists and all three have also been remarkably kind and dealt with each problem with the greatest of care. I'd imagine all his patients feel the same. I trust him to guide me as we, WE, make decisions about my health and my care. Thank you, Dr. Garcia. And thank you to all his staff. Truly remarkable people

I have been a patient of this office for the past years, yesterday I developed symptoms from Monkey Pox, I contact my Ryan White manager and he recommended me to contact the office of Dr. Efrain Garcia, what I did, it was in the afternoon 2:38pm, the Manager and the front desk told me that was too late and they were ready to leave for the day, their office claims to close at 5:00pm. When comes to health, pain and emergency (Emergency correlated to the office specialty - Infections Disease), unfortunately the patient on file can’t wait until the next day. They gave me two options in a very abrupt way, the end of the next day appointment or go to the ER. I went to the ER at Jackson Hospital and I was tested positive from Monkey Pox. This morning I called Elizabeth the front desk and also the Manager Sandra Lopez that was very rude in a point that I never experienced before. Sandra Lopez really treated me aggressively. So sad to know that people who work in that position does not care about others pain or sick status. So unfortunately sad. Facing this situation of a non proper relationship between patient and provider/staff, I requested to be referral to another office. I hope with this review Sandra Lopez the manager and Elizabeth Siu the front desk understand that been kind and empathetic is always welcome when comes to patient/provider relationship. I attempted to have an RX filled and the pharmacy told me that I needed to see the doctor as it had been over a year. I called Dr. Garcia's office and spoke to Liz, who has theWORST personality and WORST people skills of any receptionist I've ever met. I asked if I was going to need an annual physical to have my RX filled and she basically yelled at me in a very condescending way that I would have to schedule anoother appointment for that when I came in. WHY??? Why not just schedule the annual instead of making me come in for NOTHING????? Then they made me see a Resident, who needed the whole explanation of why I was there. After wasting an hour of my day, still not seeoing Dr. Garcia, I walked out. I HATE this office with a passion and would advise anyone to avoid it like the plague. I doubt that anyone from there will call to ask why I walked out. They don't seem to care when you are there, I am sure they don't care if you walk out without being seen. NO Stars.

Dr. Garcia has been my doctor for almost 20 years. He is the best! He cares for my health and my wellness. His staff is professional and always treat me very well, Sandra is a 5 stars nurse. I will move wherever they go.

Dr Garcia is great but Liz, the receptionist is nasty and rude.

Just be prepared to deal with the rudest receptionist in the world. Ignore her and document everything. Liz is a real piece of work that needs to go. The rest of the staff are good but she brings low marks on the office.

Rude staff; horrible customer service. Condescending and rude at the way they address possible patients.

Very open minded, understanding and professional. Dr Garcia takes his time and makes sure that I understand all aspects of my general health.
