Dr Chavez is very professional and knowledgeable. He explained my situation very clearly. He discussed different management options and provided clear instructions on what to do after the visit. He is very approachable and shared his contact information so i could contact him if needed.

I was referred to Dr. Morales because my kidneys were impacted by a chemo medication for another matter. While I have had great doctors at the University of Miami, this is one doctor I will always stay away from and cannot recommend. Not only was he wrong medically, he was depressing, needlessly negative,, somewhat cocky doctor sometimes, no compassion, and therefore bad bedside manners in that sense. He was wrong medically and should probably consider a professional refresher course as well as improve how to better talk to patients with more compassion, understanding, rather than offer a 100% grim,negative, near death sentence during chemo: “there is no hope that after chemo the kidneys would improve,” but they did! Had said they would NEVER improve but would get WORSE and that “we would discuss dialysis when kidneys reached 15% functioning.” Even the nurses and Chemo were astounded that a doctor would say that to a Chemo patient then.STAY AWAY. Better doctors are available.
