Dr. Bailey is extremely kind and sweet. She's been a great listener and always sympathetic. I wish she was a little less dismissive of a recent diagnosis of mine and practiced more evidence-based women's care (e.g. annual pelvic exams aren't backed by science). There's also been difficulty communicating with her office and getting prescriptions sorted out, and I'll be honest that her recommendation for a colposcopy after a normal pap is what turned me off for good (well, that and Virginia Mason going Catholic), especially as no explanation was given as I was pushed multiple times to make an appointment. But again, as a person, she is so lovely and dear, which is why I'm really sorry to say that if you're looking for a GP who practices more up-to-date medicine and is a little more considerate when it comes to invasive exams and procedures, you may not find it with Dr. Bailey.

Dr. Bailey is always warm, caring and attentive. I don't feel rushed and her diagnoses are always spot on. I've had a number of great doctors at Virginia Mason and Dr. Bailey is one of the best.
