I highly recommend Dr Eileen Dauer!
I had an extremely enlarged thyroid/goiters that had to come out. She ordered another US as the previous were missing information that she wanted to see. Thankfully she did, the right side grew to 11.8 cm! The risks can be higher when removing goiters of this size. She did so successfully, no permanent damage to my parathyroid glands or vocal cords!!! She is professional, kind, thorough and her surgical skills, in my opinion, exemplary!!! She answered all my questions and I felt comfortable and well cared for before and after surgery! She is an excellent Dr and Surgeon!!! I am very grateful for her!!!

Followup
A nasal culture was done and staph was discovered. A nurse called to give results. Since this situation is quite serious, the doctor should have called me herself. I had numerous questions about this condition that were best addressed by a physician. I was not happy with the followup. Have been relying on the internet for answers. Not the best source.

She’s always been incredibly kind. She was the first to tell me that my tumor was there, even when typical imaging missed it and the first to tell me that I wasn’t imagining things or crazy. She felt it and she moved forward and I am so grateful for that. She ordered an ultrasound and they finally found it, and we were able to to see it. After surgery, neither of us knew what it was, but she worked to figure out that it was completely benign. She was calm and patient with me prior to surgery and talked me through my panic attack and was kind upon discharge and follow up.
