This entire practice is pathetic. Dr. Arata has no idea what she is doing and she pays no attention to the concerns of her patients. She is dismissive and neglectful. Marie (at the front desk) is curt and condescending.

Dr. Arata is compassionate, up to date on all medical conditions and treatments and a thoughtful communicator. She is a true patient partner, always asking and including my opinion when we make treatment decisions. When she believes a specialist is necessary she makes appropriate referrals. She responds promptly to phone and text messages. I cannot imagine having another doctor as my primary care physician.

I have trusted Dr. Arata with my health care for years and have never been disappointed! Sometimes there is the feeling that we have no access to healthcare even with insurance but she is reachable for any issues. Phone messages to her are responded to within the same day. Dr. Arata possess both competence and caring!

I have great respect for Dr. Arata and trust her implicitly. She's a fine doctor - intelligent, empathetic, interested in my well being. I never feel rushed in any way. It's such a satisfying feeling to know that she really cares about me not only as a patient but as a person. Having lived in Maryland for only a couple of years, it's a great comfort to know that I'm in such good hands. S.R.

Dr. Arata has been an excellent doctor. She makes herself available when unseen medical needs arise and is a caring doctor at all times. She recently went to Concierge service which has increased the out of pocket expenses but I cannot imagine trying to find a doctor that I would like as well as I like her. She is truly a family doctor as quite a few extended family members go to her.
