Doesn’t care about your needs, sneaky billing
To Dr. Elaine Cheon-Lee, patients are just a source of money. She doesn?t care about your health concerns. Don?t ask questions during your annual checkup. If you do she will charge extra.That?s what happened to me. After Dr. Cheon-Lee did a quick routine examination, I asked her a question: Is there anything I should know or be aware of about entering menopause? I made it clear I am not interested in HRT because of its side effects. To my surprise I received a $130 bill for an ?office visit?. This was in addition to the $188 my insurance paid for my annual exam. When I reached out to Dr. Cheon-Lee I was told the hormone replacement therapy was not part of annual visit; therefore I was charged for an additional visit. She agreed the bill was unexpected and acknowledged I wasn?t informed in advance there would be a charge. This came after I repeatedly told her I wasn?t interested in HRT given its side effects. Stay away from this place and find a doctor who truly cares about you.

I saw Dr. Cheon-Lee in December 2020. She is a great OB-GYN. She has been my gynecologist for about 3 years now. She always takes her time with me, is very focused on exactly what my needs are, sits beside me to talk to me one on one and is very soft spoken and comforting. She is a very knowledgeable doctor. This is not the most enjoyable type of visit women do yearly, but with Dr. Cheon-Lee, she makes is so much more comfortable. I think everyone here is very professional and nice. They are also very conscientious about COVID-19 which I take very seriously so it means a lot to me. A very nice place.
