A year suffering E. coli only found by Dr. Fan!
I had suffered abdominal pain, bleeding, nausia, and weakness for a year. Fair Oaks diagnosed it as stress related. UVA Prince William thought more of it and admitted me. Dr. Fan came to my room the next morning and I liked her right away. She was very attentive to where I felt she understood me and she was careful to make sure I comprehended what she was saying. After more lab specimens were ordered Dr. Fan nailed the elusive ailment as being E. coli and immediately put me on IV antibiotics. The next day I felt a great improvement in my system and was actually able to enjoy a meal without the nausia that had plagued me for so long and today I am quite well. Unless someone suffers a long term illness it is difficult to understand how grateful one can be for health. I owe Dr. Fan my endless gratitude for healing me from an misery that no other medical professional could diagnose. Thank you Dr. Fan. You are the BEST!!! 'Driver Dave' Farrell

She stood over my mother at UVa Prince William Medical Center with no definitive proof that my Mom could not handle a hysterectomy due to her age and that my Mom had to think about what she wanted to do with her life. Dr. Fan had no biopsy. She's internal medicine. I wouldn't trust her or want her to treat a sinus infection. Bedside manner 101 needs to be taken again.
