Dr. Elena Blanco, DPM

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Blanco. She was very professional and personable. I went to her because I had plantar fasciitis. It did take several months to finally resolve my issue, which she told me it would take that long. The staff is wonderful also. They also called my insurance company to get orthotics paid for.

Saw Dr Blanco for bunion correction surgery. She explained the process in detail, using X-rays to identify the bones as well as the process. Her professionalism, knowledge, kindness and interest are easily apparent. I have never been rushed, she takes her time and answers all my questions. Her staff are kind, courteous and helpful. They are have consistently been immediately responsive scheduling appointments as well as my surgery - which I had to reschedule. Her offices and waiting area are clean and very comfortable. She manages her schedule timely, I never waited longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room - I arrived on time and was seen on time. Post surgery follow up care has been exceptional. She is attentive, responsive and tender when changing bandages and removing sutures. Always a smile and Always kind. My experience has been nothing but outstanding! Most sincerely, I highly recommend Dr Blanco.

While I had a great experience with the doctor recently. I left the office being advised that they were going to contact the imaging center and send over my progress notes so I can schedule an MRI. When I called the imaging center more than 24 hours later they have not yet received this information. I am now not able to make an appointment to have my MRI when I am dealing with much pain and was told I needed to call back when "the person" who manages this is in. They couldn't tell me the persons name or when they would be available next to speak with

Dr. Blanco is wonderful. She explains everything clearly and makes you feel comfortable. Her staff is wonderful to work with, always accommodating.

Wish I could give negative 5 stars. Worst experience. Has bunion and hammer toe correction. Bunion was not corrected well and there hammertoes are in a more awkward shape than originally. Doctor never tried to explain the procedure or what would happen. Did not care for follow up appointments. Danielle the surgical coordinator is rude, just after $$ on the doctor’s behalf. I only wish I could go back in time and chose another doctor to preform this life changing surgery, or read an honest review which would turn me away from her. Followed up with another podiatrist who made me realize how unqualified Dr. Blanco is. Please stay away.

She is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. Great hands, great bedside manner and great with kids.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Blanco because she spoke Spanish and would feel more comfortable with her. I went for a routine foot care and she only cut my nails and felt a bit disappointed because I thought she would do more for skin and use other tools that I have seen from another podiatrist. I would recommend finding another podiatrist for cleaning toes and foot care.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Blanco to anyone. She is very professional and knowledgeable. I felt very embarrassed with how dry and cracked my feet were. I was also seeing her for sweaty feet. She recommended a treatment that really helped me. She answered all my questions and I'm glad I am no longer embarrassed, I'm confident now.

This was my first visit to a podiatrist. I've had a fungal toenail for quite a while and was embarrassed to see anyone about it. I was given an appointment right away. Dr. Blanco was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain each treatment option available to me. She was very thorough and had excellent bedside manner. Dr. Blanco made me feel very comfortable during my visit. Almost no wait time and I'm already seeing improvement! I highly recommended Dr. Blanco!!

Be aware when you make an appointment. I was misdiagnosed and unnecessary injections. I ended up going to a MD foot specialist @ Mt.Sinai. I finally was diagnosed properly. I ended up having a coalition not plantar fascitis. This office says they accept your insurance, but they end up not accepting Aetna. Their biling department lacks professionalism and resort to bullying. Zero professionalism and lacks all principles of patient centered care.
