Dr. Elena Forouhar, MD

1st visit: one hour wait. Excuses made about her car. 2nd visit: telehealth appointment 45 minute wait, hurried through appointment.MRI was ordered following 2nd visit. I expressed my issues with being confined and was told that facility doing MRI would provide sedation. It did not. Had to leave facility without getting MRI and message doctor to order anxiety meds for MRI. Medication was ordered incorrectly. Had to follow up again to get prescription properly ordered. Upon completion of MRI took 3 weeks to get reading of MRI. No response from Doctor or office. Wasn't untill I told office I filed a grievance against Dr and wanted a new physician that Dr called me harrasing me telling me she gave me good medical care. Still waiting on actual reading of MRI. Like I said in the header, one of the worst Doctors I've ever had in my life. She should not be practicing medicine and should be held accountable for her negligence.

My husband came to see Dr. Forouhar last year2015 she got his A1C down to 9 and his sugar levels were 400 now 200 and below she gave him the correct medicines out of 3 doctors she got it right. Thank you Dr. Forouhar.

As a sugar addict diabetic, time with your endo can be a shameful and embarrassing event; they tell you what to eat and sometimes you are good, most times you are not. Dr. Forouhar just accepted me as I was. Sixteen years into my diabetes, she was the only one who felt my thyroid and said it felt misshapen and sent me to have an ultra-sound. That's when my Hashimoto's was diagnosed and I was put on Cynthroid. She's wonderful!

She is an excellent doctor. She changed my life and I feel much better now. She definitely listened best to my concerns and offered me the treatment option which works best for me. Nobody explained my disease to me as she did. She answered all my questions, returned my calls and stayed close in touch with me in the beginning of my disease when I was very upset and all tearful. I highly recommend her.
