She was very dismissive, almost seemed annoyed that I had taken up her time with my appointment.

Bad experience
I will not be back to see Doctor Salerno. She was extremely rude and dismissive. She rushed me through the whole exam and then seemed bothered that I was asking any questions. She implied that I was a drug seeker because I asked for pain medication for my serious endometriosis. She treated me like a number and not like a person. I was disgusted by her bedside manner. Never again.

I am sorry to say I am moving on after 20 years. She delivered my youngest child almost 19 years ago. I have noticed she seemed more rushed and less attentive the last few visits but my last visit was the final straw. I had some questions/concerns regarding perimenopause..she was dismissive and even short with me. Leaving me feeling like I could not ask more questions and even like a child for asking the questions I did. I have never felt so upset leaving an appointment! I have decided to leave and go to another group of doctors. I do not feel this is a good fit for my new stage of life.

I have been going to Dr. Salerno for many years. She truly is a gem! Often she has taken time for conversations to thoroughly explain things and I appreciate that in a doctor. I have had surgery performed by Dr. Salerno and have the utmost confidence in her. She is always very thorough in my care and I know I am in the best hands I could be. Her nurse, Cynthia is always a joy to see and I would recommend Dr. Salerno to all women for their personalized care.

Dr. Salerno is very professional, yet down to earth. She seems to really care about you and your health. She takes time to answer your questions and explain procedures thoroughly. Her nurse is excellent, however the front desk staff could be more courteous. Most times I have been in and not even be greeted, and they act like you are interrupting them if you have a question.
