I was very surprised to see positive reviews for Dr. Zhou. It was my very first appointment with a gastroenterologist ever, and she spent less than five minutes with me. She actually got up and started to leave before I could ask any questions. I literally had to say “stop” to get her to turn around and look at me so I can ask questions. She stood in the open door while I asked my questions which made me very uncomfortable, so I ended up, leaving with a ton of unanswered questions.

Very frustrating to wait for an appointment with this “specialist” to have her not actually do anything. Like literally nothing. Took my daughter to her appointment and Dr Zhou was cold and dismissive and didn’t even do the tiniest examination. Instead sent us to Mercy’s lab for a take home test that they don’t even carry. The lab then sent us to LabCorp who also did not carry that test. My daughter emailed Dr Zhou who told her to get the test she ordered done. Ummmm how?? Just very uncaring and nonchalant about care. Not impressed at all.

Dr. Zhou has a calm and straightforward inquisitive demeanor. She asks to find out what may be contributing to my symptoms and offers helpful advice. She tells me what steps I need to take. Much thanks

Dr. Zhou is a wonderful GI doctor. She is very communicative with her patients and is very clear in her methods which makes it very easy to understand her. I highly recommend Dr. Zhou!
