The doctor did not explain the discharge papers to me. The visit was rushed. I do not understand the illness named, I don't know if she actually sent medication to the pharmacy or not, etc. She handed me the papers, and ended the conversation quickly. Before I could ask any questions , she left me the room.

The doctor was attentive and she clearly explained the results of my tests and what illness I could have. She paid attention to what I said and was very kind when explaining my care plan. I felt welcome there and she said to come back if I needed further assistance/wasn't getting better.

She was conscientious and careful when my health issues before providing emergency scrips when I was unexpectedly in DC and in need of refills. She verified by checking with my PCP that I had been validly prescribed them previously. She was pleasant, warm, and readily conveyed that she was genuinely concerned about providing the care I needed. Few recognize it, but a smile can really go a long toward putting patients at ease. Dr. DeAngelis is a kind and excellent physician.
