Dr. Elisa Melendez, MD

Coming from someone who works in healthcare, Dr Melendez is a poor choice as a doctor. She is condescending and rude, no manners! She asked me why I wasn’t taking a certain medication and I responded by saying remember you won’t order it and all she said was “oh Yea”. Thank goodness I work for HCA and have other options for providers. For being someone who is overweight herself she sure likes to tell her pts they are bad at caring for their health. Her front desk people are just as rude. Here’s to a better 2025 and finding a provider who is professional and cares about their patients.

This doctor is not a doctor that listens to her patients. All this doctor seems to care about is money.I am writing this on behalf of my mother. She received terrible service, she was not listened to when my mom tried to explain her medical issues, she would argue with my mom, granted my mom does forget some things but that doesn't give the doctor the right to belittle her for forgetting when she was last seen, the doctor would not send referrals in a timely manner, then told my mom to look for her own therapist since she didn't want to go to the therapist she referred her because she was not getting the help she needed. There is much more to say but not enough room to say it.If you care about your health or your parents health, I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR FOR MEDICAL CARE.

very good, Dr took a lot of time with me and was very friendly, has a good sence of humor. I was treated kindly . and was able to speak openly about my health with her,

Irritable, extremely rude, comes into exam room argumentative 1st words out of her mouth. Doesn't read lab results, in a timely manner sometimes many days & weeks out. When I complained to her she told me, " I'm very busy" as her excuse. You must bother her Medical Assistant to get the results. Horrible bedside manner and in my opinion shouldn't be a doctor representing SCL Health. I walked out of the exam room without any interaction from her! Such a horrible experience.

Late, irritable, not very knowledgeable or friendly, rude.

While she was on time for the appointment, she was very rude and had a terrible bad side manner. The appointment was rushed and she made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience to her. I will never go back to her again.

The doctor seemed knowledgeable but somewhat pressed for time so I felt 'rushed' to explain my problems. When I mentioned issues with my 'hair, skin and nails' she seemed to immediately dismiss this as nothing short of vague complaints. ( The only reason I mentioned it was because they can sometimes have a connection.) After taking these symptoms into consideration, I'm now under the care of a different doctor who suspects lupus.

Worst doctor I have ever seen!! She was so rude and did not listen to anything I had to say. Don't even waste your time seeing her!

TERRIBLE bedside manner. Felt very disrespected and disregarded. Will never go back to her again.
