We love Park Ridge Pediatrics. Our family loves the nurses, doctors and the front desk employee. Except Dr. Mehta we saw her for a same day sick appointment and she was so rude. I cannot figure out why she works as a pediatrician or why they keep her on staff. She spoke to me like I was a child. She wouldn’t directly talk to me. She would ask me a question then talk over me and spoke to the nurse who she was barking orders to. I barely said one word when I was there but what I experienced was so uncomfortable and just an overall ick feeling. I have 3 kids and when I call now I will see any doctor but her. It’s sad because it’s a wonderful practice but she is downright rude. It’s hard to describe but there was no bedside manner and for me I will not have my kids see her again.

My three kids have been Dr. Mehta’s patients for over 10 years. She’s been kind, good listener and always accurate with her diagnosis and treatment.

I am sure why she is a pediatric MD. She lacks compassion, parrots out outdated information, and does not really offer any value. As a new parent, she not only talked down to me but she made me feel as if I’m an idiot for asking question on the poor guidance she was giving me on my child. I don’t understand how her practice partners keep her around as she has a bed reputation in the area.

Been going to this practice for 14 yrs and have seen all the doctors. We have never had a bad doctor. I have teens now and this past couple of years we have seen Dr Mehta a lot. She has always been compassionate and listened. My kids feel comfortable with her. When my 16 yr old daughter recently a physical, I requested Dr Mehta because I thought her bedside has been great. Had an issue with my son, she dx it, gave great advice--and the office followed up.

I absolutely love Park Ridge Pediatrics and will happily see any doctor there...except for Dr. Mehta. The few times I have had to deal with her, she's either been judgemental or very short with me. That is not the attitude a parent wants to deal with when worried about their sick child. She really needs an attitude adjustment and is the only flaw with Park Ridge Pediatrics.
