Lacks empathy. No emotional intelligence.
Dr. Olsen spent less than 5 mins evaluating my daughter. She did not ask her any direct questions about her hair loss history, did a quick scalp review, left the patient room without explaining a clinical diagnosis or providing treatment guidance or any hope for managing hair loss. Even if she could not make a diagnosis or any clinical recommendations, her lack of empathy, her bedside manner was insensitive. She left the patient room so quickly we were confused and asked the nurse if the appointment was over. My daughter waited for months for this appointment and took a day off from work. She left crying and feeling more helpless. Dr. Olsen should re-evaluate her commitment to providing quality care. Absolute worst doctor visit.

What could be improved
  • I didn't feel respected
  • Difficult to schedule appointment
  • Didn't listen or answer questions
  • Didn't explain conditions well
  • Appointment was rushed
  • Didn't trust the provider's decisions

A family member felt like a lab animal- despite patient's cooperative nature and compliance, staff seemed annoyed with any questions. It was a "my way or the highway" attitude- worse bed side manner than our vet. As a health care provider, I am horrified by the experience.
