Dr. Elizabeth Bullard, MD

I was very attached to my previous psychiatrist who took a different job so was prepared to be disappointed when I met Dr. Bullard, but I have been so impressed. She does not work with insurance companies, so she is expensive but a MUCH better value. A psychiatrist who takes insurance rarely spends much time with patients since insurance doesn’t think of them as real doctors. Well, Dr. Bullard is a very real, very good, doctor. She knows her medicine and biochemistry. She acts in her patients’ best interest at all times. She has time to get to understand their lives, not just hear a brief list of symptoms and adjust meds even if the main problem isn’t meds. She was also so helpful and accommodating when 2020 went off the rails. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bullard has been treating my wife for postpartum depression after the birth of our first child. This was such an exciting and then scary time for us. Thankfully we found Dr Bullard! She has been working with my wife and has been amazing. postpartum depression is something we never knew about. Dr. Bullard not only provided us with reassurance, but has given my wife the therapy to deal with this issue. My loving wife is doing so much better and is back to caring for our child without the fears she was having. I want people who read this to know that postpartum depression is a REAL condition, and nothing to be ashamed of. Please call Dr. Bullard if you experiencing depression after child birth. She has been a blessing to our family.

I have been seeing Dr. Bullard for a number of years. She is thoughtful, insightful and exceedingly empathetic. She provides the right ratio of talk therapy vs medicinal intervention. I have had a very difficult time finding the right physician for my needs, but she has been really great for me and I have recommended her to friends. She is also very responsive (often in the same day). I had a crisis in Florida and although it was quite difficult for her to do so, she was able to intervene and help me even though I was out of state. She's great.

Dr. Bullard is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. If you are looking for a female psychiatrist who WANTS to spend an hour with you and not just write you a bunch of prescriptions.. I could not recommend her more. She truly has changed my life in the past year and I would not be the same person I am today without her.
