Cold, Dismissive, & Uninformative
Would not recommend. Each time I have seen Dr. Dacus she has come off cold and dismissive. After being a patient for three years, she not once ever performed any sort of exam. Any time I had questions or expressed concerns I was simply told I’d be fine. When struggling with severe period pains and extremely irregular periods she very casually told me “Well you probably have PCOS, which will most likely cause infertility issues for you but that’s something you can worry about when you’re older. For now, we’ll just put you on birth control and hope it works itself out” She said this in a very matter of fact way and provided no more information on what PCOS even was. I was 19 at the time and suddenly now terrified that I may not be able to ever have children. The appointment was so harsh and cold I couldn’t even make it to my car before I began crying. This was such an uncomfortable appointment that only left me scared and with many unanswered questions.

Amazing
She was very informative, and honest. She was amazing, very personable! When she came to see my son and I in the hospital after birth she was so kind and gentle with my son.

Would NOT recommend
Dr. Dacus was a terrible doctor for me. One of the first things she said to me when I described my debilitating perimenopause symptoms was, "let's see how much discomfort you can take." I should have walked out of the office right then. She then prescribed a medicine that was the opposite of what I needed, making many of my symptoms worse. And on top of that, the communication between her office, and her with me when I was in need of medical advice was truly terrible. Everyone from the receptionist, to the nurse, to the dr herself was thoughtless, uninformed, and uncaring. I am so glad I am no longer under her care.
