Worst PCP I ever had
I went to her years ago. One check up with her I mentioned I wasn't sleeping, I was having horrible anxiety, and a bit of depression. She told me I was lucky that I wasn't struggling with 3 jobs like many people she knew. I asked her if I wasn't supposed to have such symptoms as a stay at home mom, but she deflected. Again reminding me I was lucky not having 3 jobs, etc. I spent days crying after that, not seeking any treatment because she made me feel like I wasn't worth it. Thankfully I chose another PCP who told me that saying those things was wrong. I did seek professional help, with a proper diagnosis. A few years later I was working 3 jobs, would she have helped me then?If I kept her as my doctor, saying things like that could have had a horrible outcome for me.

Exactly what I was looking for
5+ years ago I needed to find a new PCP because I lost my insurance through Kaiser.I trawled through many physicians here on Healthgrades and on the UCLA Health website (UCLA Health is one of the finest healthcare organizations I can conceive of). I was looking for a younger doctor, someone closer to my own age, and specifically someone who had an integrative, holistic perspective on health and wellness. From my first visit with her several years ago I could tell I had made an excellent choice. She has a fantastic demeanor and 'bedside manner', and I have always felt like was truly seeing and hearing me; she wasn't just 'going through the motions' to get the appointment over as soon as possible. She is responsive when messaging through UCLA Health's healthcare management app, so whenever I suspect I need to be referred to a specialist of some kind she's quick to be of assistance. In short she is kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and receptive. I feel lucky to have her as my PCP.

Best doctor I’ve ever had
Every time I leave Dr. Ko's office after an appointment, I think to myself "I am so glad she is my doctor." Every experience has been pleasant and positive, which I feel like is rare for doctors visits. She is kind, incredibly attentive, and goes the extra mile to make sure my concerns are addressed and questions are answered. I have never felt any judgement or shame. Instead, she helps me understand my body, asks all the right questions (not just about my medical concerns but also to make sure I am living a healthy lifestyle), and makes me feel heard. This allows me to feel comfortable and at ease. She walks into the room with a smile on her face and happy to help. I would recommend Dr. Ko to anyone. You simply can't beat the care provided by UCLA Health. She is also quick to post test results (including a description about what they mean for me) and respond to questions in the online portal.

DO NOT GO TO HER!!!!!!!
Dr. Ko was so unhelpful and is so uninformed. She shamed me for my weight, while also not taking any time at all to answer to my questions. She blamed my high blood pressure on my weight even though I am in a healthy weight range, eat nutrient dense foods, and work out almost every day. The issue has nothing to do with my weight. She made me feel like an inconvenience and was condescending, as well. DO NOT GO TO HER!!!
