Got to my appointment 30 minutes early. Waited for the 30 minutes plus an additional 40 in the front lobby. People who had appointments after me went in before me. They finally called me back and the nurse apologized saying they accidently skipped my name twice. I got back they take my blood pressure and then nothing for another 45 minutes. I had my two younger kiddos with me, 3 & 2. The front office person came in and asked if my kids could stop laughing since it was disturbing the doctor in a meeting. I said she is in a meeting, she said yes ma'am, she was late getting back from lunch and had to attend a meeting. I said so she knows I have been waiting for an hour and a half. She said yes ma'am. I said my appointment was at 2:15, she said I know. I said it is almost 4, she said I know. She then said it would be 30-45 minutes longer. I said what? I was then told that the doctor has just found out at lunch that she was exposed to Covid and asked if I preferred a mask, they said the doctor would be. I said no thank you I am done, asked for my refund for the visit and I did not get one apology. Office staff is horrible and unprofessional, was rude and told me I was late that was the reason for the delay. But I was 30 minutes early I said and the nurse admitted to skipping my name twice on accident, she said ok. I get waiting but to make patients wait to attend a meeting and you were late for is uncalled for and to attend to patients not knowing if you have covid was the last straw. Highly do not recommend.

Dr. Papaila did my surgery & was very pleased with her abilities & bedside manner. Took time on initial visit to listen & answered any questions. Compassionate & I’m glad I was referred to her by my doctor. I would have no problem recommending her.

Dr Papaila did my surgery two weeks ago and she’s an amazing surgeon. She explains everything very well, no rushing you and has great bedside manners. Her staff is just as nice and friendly as she is. I definitely refer her, if need a good surgeon in her field.

I had a hernia surgery and Dr. Papaila was OUTSTANDING. Not only is she excellent at her job, but her bedside manners are beyond extraordinary. She made me feel comfortable, she explained everything in detail, she was patient and didn't make our appointments feel rushed, she followed up, she writes notes of everything she does during surgery for you to read, she is relatable and easy to talk to. I am so happy I found her. I was very nervous to have a surgery (my first!) and she made my experience so pleasant. My recovery is going wonderfully too. HIGHLY recommended.

Never got a reminder call or new patient instructions prior to the initial visit. Called the day before and got the answering service. Called promptly at 9am the day of to get information, was on hold 4 minutes, and then got the answering service who said the office is open but had not turned the phones on. Called back, same thing. Called back and finally got the office at 9:09 am. Jacqueline had an attitude, didn’t apologize, and couldn’t have cared less about patient care. I explained that I have been trying to find out if this is an in office visit or televisit. She said it was in office, but I would have to leave a message for Dr Papialla’s assistant to convert it. She doesn’t even know who the patient is. , this is for a visit at 1:30pm for an immobile patient who takes 2 hours to get ready and endure the drive in. She didn’t even make an attempt to see if the assistant was available.

Dr. Papaila is an excellent surgeon! She takes the time to thoroughly explain everything and I have great trust in her skill. She put in a port and later removed it for me. The process was smooth and painless. Her office staff is great and her billing is clear and accurate.

Had a wonderful experience with my hernia surgery. One thing that amazed me and being part of a medical family in 70-80’s. Dr Papaila is well loved and respected by Hospital staff. This says alot about her all around. It made me feel great with the comments that were said about her.

She did a hernia repair and I was so satisfied with her excellent care that when two years later I needed my gall bladder removed I was so happy that our family doctor recommended her to do it. I trust her and would highly recommend her to anyone.

What a great experience from the front office to the doctor. She put me at ease, Dr Papaila asked lots of questions, and explained in details her findings, as well as answering the ones or concern I had. I really appreciate the time spent with me.

Very rude and condescending. I could not ask her anything without a snide answer. I did not have the procedure due to her obnoxiousness. Going to another facility

She didn't listen to me when I told her I thought I had a hernia/ soft tissue tear and told me that you cant have surgery to repair a sports hernia athletica pubalgia unless you were a professional athlete and I spent 3 months in dibilitating pain and agony, not being able to work or do anything except be bed ridden, and countless money and time spent to get the diagnosis that I indeed had a hernia and needed surgery to repair it!I would NEVER recommend her to anyone!
