I think she may have rubbed other reviewers the wrong way because she is no non sense and very direct. A major part of recovery is parents doing their part with aftercare. Moreover, when parents don't follow up it is frustrating for the doctor; and she won't hold back on letting you know that. Our son has clubbed feet, and Dr Pickvance did an excellent job with all aspects of care. As a fellow physician, I'd highly recommend her.

We loved dr Pikvance. She was great with my son's clubbed feet. It was sad when she had to leave. She's an incredible surgeon. You can tell she knows what she's doing. I know some find her bedside manner a bit abrasive. For me I took it as she really cared for my son and wanted to make sure I was fully aware of all possibilities. You do need to ask good questions so she knows how to help you understand. That's what I found.

My daughter sustained a serious knee injury and broke her tibia. They changed her diagnoses three times and took her cast off after two week. She was not fully healed. Her bedside manners are horrible. Her PA says something completely different at each appointment which is different from what the doctor said. Stay away from her!!!!

Horrible. She was mean and belittling to our family and to my child, who she was supposed to be treating. She absolutely shows no interest in her patients, ignoring our thoughts and treating us with contempt. In the end we weren't even satisfied with her work. Stay away from this awful woman.
