A top-notch most excellent professional
Dr. Poynor, has been my, and my spouse's doctor for 15-plus years. She's one of the finest professionals, providing the most comprehensive, knowledgeable and experienced care. Dr. Poynor always makes herself available, to answer questions, address concerns, and provide the most excellent counsel with care and empathy. More than just a doctor, and perhaps not so much a friend, but someone we have relied on, and will miss knowing her practice is there.

Dr. Poynor is truly extraordinary. I have a condition that is being treated non traditionally, and I trust her and her surgical intervention completely. She is bright and to the point, as well as kind and compassionate. She is also a very calming presence in the OR pre-anesthesia for this nervous patient! I highly recommend her.

Dr. Poynor and staff are wonderful with diagnosis and Patient care. Traditional and holistic approaches are used. The office sonogram/ultrasound person Barbara is outstanding in her field, she catches things others do/might not. Alla the Nutritionist is helpful, lovely and really knows her stuff. Catherine Admin. Asst. helps make sure all runs smooth. The setting is pretty, relaxing, takes some of stress out of Gyn. visits. The Poynor team will put you on the path to wellness, better health, even a cure. Very grateful to all.

She is a good doctor (based on the raving reviews and her credentials) running a very disorganized office where everything is an issue from scheduling an appointment to leaving a message for the doctor to sending correct prescriptions to the pharmacy. All she needs to do is hire a good office manager, return calls of symptomatic patients within 24hr (she never returned my call after i left a few messages with her staff), send correct prescriptions to the pharmacy (do not forget to send them), install trash bins in the exam rooms instead of leaving used speculums and other tools on the plastic back on the chair or dresser), scale back and may be stop accepting new patients since she doesn't seem to be able to cope with the current volumes.

Such a beautiful office and professional staff! My family has come for years and referred me for my procedure. The wait time can be long however the constant updates from her compassionate staff were very considerate and unique. My case was not an emergency so I am very understanding of Dr. Poynor ‘s prioritizing the ones that were during my visit. If you are not thrilled with a diagnosis this practice seems the place to be!

I owe my life to Dr. Elizabeth Poynor. After searching for 15 years to find a surgeon and doctor who takes the time to understand what's wrong with me versus dismissing my symptoms, I found Dr. Poynor. She was able to do surgery and diagnosis me with Stage 4 endometriosis. Since surgery, Catherine has always been able to accommodate my schedule when I need to see Dr. Poynor. Dr. Poynor takes her time with you and explains. She also follows up with me while I'm at home. She is AMAZING!

Dr. Poynor is at once attuned to your issues. She is professional polished and down-to-Earth; not always a likely trio. I seek an integrative, holistic approach to my health challenges and Dr. Poynor was not only an advocate of the integration she referred me to a wonderful practioner. As a woman it is so important to encounter highly skilled and well educated female healers, Dr. Poynor is one of them!
