Colonoscopy
Just recently had a colonoscopy with Dr. Rock. I was extremely pleased with the friendliness, , care, and professionalism of the staff members who attended to me which helped make the procedure less daunting. Therefore, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Rock. I feel very fortunate to have Penn Medicine so close to home.

Horrible experience with Dr Rock. Husband suffers from UC and during an inflammation told him (via the medical assistant) that there was nothing else she could do for him. Horrible bedside manner and needs to be on top of latest drugs and advancements.

Dr. Rock released both my 16 year old daughter and I from her care because she could not diagnose either of us after multiple tests and exams extending over two years. We were diagnosed by another Gastroenterology practice shortly after our first visit. Rock is horrid and has no bed-side manner.

I have never seen her in her office, only for procedures and she was ok. However, the office is a pain in the neck(am trying hard to be polite here!) to get a hold of and don't hold your breath if you are expecting a call back. Staff has been abrupt and questions rarely get answered!! I waited 5 days for a call back, which I never got so had to call them again. Their pat answer is, "we're short staffed". That's not my problem! I needed answers since I was not(and am still not) feeling well, and was not getting them. I am so fed up with their office, where I have been going for a while, I am switching practices!! Hopefully the new practice will help me and at least return my calls in a timely manner. Good riddance!!

Dr. Rock has been my primary care doctor (I had to see her so often, it made sense to have her perform this role) for over 20 years. I came to her with much GI distress and she has changed my life. She is always willing to do more research when i come up with odd symptoms. I just trust her completely and I don't know what will happen when she decides to retire.

Dr. Rock performed a Colonoscopy and also scoped my esophagus. She visited me before and after the procedure, answered all of our questions, and was very attentive. I would recommend her to others.

I had to find another gastro doctor and I came upon Dr. Rock. I can honestly say I was very happy and pleased with her. She answered all my questions, and asked it I had anything else I was concerned about. She explained her procedure in full to me, and her bedside manner is excellent. I would send my own mother to her.

Excellent doctor. I have been seeing her for over 16 years for the management of my gi issues and surveillance for precancerous conditions (I'm a colo-rectal cancer survivor). She has been a God-send. Dr. Rock returns her phone herself and takes the time to answer any and all questions.
