Wonderful Primary Care Physician
I was happy with my previous Primary Care doctor, so when she retired I was very concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find a doctor who would be as good. I need not have worried, as Dr. Salcedo has far exceeded my expectations. It’s been a few years now, and she’s been instrumental in helping me resolve several health concerns.

I was pleased with first my appointment with Dr. Salcido several years ago. After my appointment, she changed companies. In the interim, I didn't have appointments with her, but I had reports sent to her from specialists. We are now in a coronavirus epidemic, and I have had a sore throat for two months. When I called to see if I could speak with Dr. Salcido over the phone, the company she works for did not allow me to talk with her even though she had an opening on the same day. I was told that I would be considered a new patient, and that new patients are not allowed to have phone consultations, period. Instead, I was told to go to urgent care. I am 71 years old, I have an autoimmune disease that keeps me mostly homebound, and I do not have an operating car. Where is the humanity? How does a medical doctor justify not even talking with a patient for five minutes during a pandemic?
