Too busy, to care
I started coming to see Dr Athens a couple of years ago. I have never been real happy with my experiences there, but I was tired of trying to find a new pcp. She always seems rushed, probably because she's always running late, I am not sure if they overbook her, or if she spends a ton of time with her other patients. I usually am lucky if after waiting one and a half to two hours to see her, if she is in my room for 10 minutes. She has little interest in your opinion or how you feel. She does not listen when you are trying to tell her you are having an issue. Like the other comments above, she leaves saying she will be back, only to have her nurse come back and say you are all set and to go check out. I wasn't finished, but apparently she is. Learn to listen to your patients, and at least act like you are concerned. I find her cold, indifferent, and lacks compassion.

The old nurse with long white hair was rude. Interrupted me when I was speaking and was very unfriendly. The Dr was in and out of my room several times, left the door open. At one point another doctor strolled in to look through the cupboards for something. Then the last time I saw my Dr she said, "one minute," but never returned. Instead, the rude nurse returned to ask me which pharmacy I preferred. Again. Then walked away. I asked her if the Dr was coming back and she said she would check and asked me what my concern was with the door wide open still. Very unprofessional. 2 hours after my appointment began, I just left. Nurse and Dr never told me whether the appointment by was complete or said goodbye. Just said, hang on and never returned.

Wait time was long!! Why have an appointment if they are going to see u almost an hour later? Doctor didnt not show for concern, nor did I hear back about my blood work. (Good thing I got a 2nd opinion.) Doctor said she will return because he computer battery was dying. Never saw her again. Besides for the other ladies being super nice and welcoming. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr Athens clinic is the worst they just want your co-pays and insurance money. She is rude as hell and they lie to keep you coming back. This is absolutely the worst place ever. I would't recommend this place even for a dog. The LNP is flighty I just think a 1 and a half is to many stars. It's really not about the patient is about your money!!!!
