Dr. Ellen Meyers, MD

Ellen's been my Dr since she moved here to Bend and has seen my up's and my very down's. I truly believe she is what is keeping me alive having me see her monthly to stay on top of things. When I am at the point of not wanting to live anymore she is on the ball to help me through these spells. She truly cares for her patients and I just love her. St. Charles you will come to realize the mistake you made in your decisions. Regualr family care Dr's do not have the skill set nor training as she does as an Internist. I will be at your next destination.

From Florida to Oregon , the only doctor who listens, cares, and truly doesn't give up. I was misdiagnosed for almost a decade before I found Dr. Meyers she saved my life. Hands down THE BEST DOCTOR I have EVER had.

Dr. Meyers saved my life on more than one occasion, I am so grateful to have her as my physician. When I first came to be a patient of Dr. Meyers, I had struggles, as many people do. But I was far from ready to make any lifestyle changes at that moment. Most doctors would have given up but she stuck with me. After a long time and a lot of struggles, my health began to decline at a rapid pace. In a lot of ways and for a lot of people change would have been too late, luckily Dr. Meyers made the right decisions at the right time saving my life, literally. This was really just the beginning, as things progressed and I stopped doing what I was doing, my health issues progressively got worse. Dr. Meyers, personally made sure that my care team was expanded, always made the right call when the specialists seemed to miss something and has advocated on my behalf in ways I do not even know.

Dr. Meyers has been my doctor since moving to Bend in 2007. She is incredibly knowledgeable and so warm and caring I insisted that both my parents be under her care when they moved to Bend (both of which have a plethora of serious health issues). She is a phenomenal resource for our community.

She is exceptional in all aspects of medical communication and her knowledge of the medical field. Dr. Meyers has a natural talent for putting patients at ease. She is very thorough and considers all factors before recommending treatment. I feel confident that I’m receiving the best medical care possible under Dr. Meyers. I have many medical issues and she addresses each issue and doesn’t overlook anything. Anyone having Dr. Meyers as their doctor is very fortunate indeed!

Dr. Meyers is warm, caring, reassuring, extremely bright and resourceful. I have multiple health issues and am so impressed with the way she juggles them without missing a beat. In today's medical world, internal medicine doctors are extremely important if you want to feel comfortable (safe, secure, heard) with where you stand on your health. I could not have weathered the past four years, successfully, without being under her amazing umbrella.

Dr. Meyers is without a doubt the most caring, compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable Dr. I have ever encountered. She always listens to my concerns, and addresses my issues in a manner which I understand. She has taken the time to know me as a patient, never rushing thru an appointment. I have put my faith, trust and my life in her incredibly capable and caring hands. I feel fortunate to be her patient.

Great bed side manner. Her presence is comfortable from the moment you meet her. She listenswith your best interest at heart. I am so glad to find Dr. Meyers and too have her as a friend. If you are in need of an Internist, she is the very best in Bend , Oregon

I’ve been a patient of Dr Meyers for years. She is attentive, caring, incredibly knowledgeable and respectful. She’s thorough and explains things clearly during my visits. She follows up after my visits and is responsive. She’s authentic and I feel that she’s focused on me and listens. Never dismissive. I’m grateful that I found Dr Meyers.

Dr Meyers has been my doctor for about six years. She is by FAR the most attentive doctor I have ever had. I never feel blown off, she is very accurate, and her exams are complete without being overboard.She has a friendly kind bedside manner. She is compassionate, and still really direct.In the time I’ve had Dr Meyers I have recommended her to: My husband, my mom, my friend, and her husband, and her mom!! All of us agree that without a doubt, Dr Meyers is the most amazing doctor we have ever had!!My husband had a bad experience with a doctor over ten years ago. Since then, getting him to go to the doctor has been really hard. He finally decided to try Dr Meyers about a year ago…. He is cured of his Dr Phobia! He was so impressed.I cannot say enough about how incredible she is!

Dr Ellen Meyers has been my Internist for many years. She was educated at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC, which is well known for excellence. Plus she has many years of experience. She goes beyond anything you would expect. For instance, if another doctor orders a test that requires a follow-up, she orders the follow-up before the other doctor gets back to me on the results of the original test. When necessary, she refers me to specialists. She monitors her patients My Charts so she can contact them if needed even when she is on vacation. During office visits she is thorough and explains things in detail. I have told her she is the best doctor I have ever had going all the way back to my childhood doctor that made house calls.

Terrible!! I chose Dr. Meyers because she was supposed to be an experienced physician with patients with diabetes. The initial 20 minute visit was over $500. I felt that she was unresponsive to my inquiries. I asked for a reduction in the outrageous billing, but was told, in a manner of speaking, "Go fly a kite!" I would agree with others that she must be one of the worst physicians in Bend. Again, I agree, stay away from this one. It was clear to me that she was more concerned about piling on things she could bill, rather than my health. If there was a rating system based on zero to 10, with 10 being the best, I would not hesitate to give her a zero. Would love to see a refund! I would NOT recommend Dr. Meyers to anyone!

I had been a 3 year patient of Dr. Meyers and I see her each year for my annual physical. She always takes the time to review my past medical records and follows up on them. She is very thorough with my exams and patiently explains things if I have questions or do not understand something. She is very professional but very friendly. I will not hesitate recommending Dr. Meyers to my family and friends. Her staff is just as friendly and helpful.

Ellen Meyers is a wonderful primary care doctor. She listens, and provides kind, compassionate care. In this day and age, it's really nice to have a doctor that sits and talks to you.

Dr. Meyers is a fantastic physician and kind person. I have type 2 diabetes and other medical conditions. Before seeing Dr. Meyers I had a very difficult time managing my diabetes. Dr. Meyers and I worked together on a management plan that was realistic and effective. I can happily say that I am living a happier and healthier life now. I'm more active, my HbA1C levels are normal, and the other medical conditions are being managed successfully. Thank you Dr. Meyers!

This is one of the worst physicians in Bend. Literally. Stay away from this one, for sure! Oh, she acts like she cares, and even is able to put forth a somewhat "halfway" attitude, that she may care about you as a patient. However, after seeing her a couple of times in the new St. Charles south clinic, I recently had an appointment with her at her "new office", right by the hospital. What a difference folks! Guess she has it "made" now, and no longer needs to impress the "St. Chuck" bosses

Dr. Meyers listens well and follows up with appropriate labs, tests. She seems very thoughtful and her manner instills confidence and a sense of calm. She explains what she thinks in plain language, but doesn't 'dumb it down.' If you ask a technical question, she responds with a technical explanation in as plain language as is feasible. She seems to feel we are capable of participating in our own health care and decisions. Smart woman.

Dr. Meyers has a wonderful educational background and has been a doctor for over 20 years. She is intelligent and caring. She is a good listener and gives you a simplified explanation of your medical situation. She looks for minimal solutions. Anyone who chooses her will be glad with the results.

Dr. Meyers is great. She is a very knowledgeable doctor and kind. She goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and informed.
