Dr. Modell did not treat me as an individual. After having her as my neurologist I promptly found another doctor who is more patient centered and knowledgeable about my condition.

Dr modell is both professional and kind. I have recommended her to people with neurological issues, and will continue to do so. I'm so glad to have her on my medical team :-)

When Dr Modell refers you to a specialist her office staff does not do the finding of the specialist. It will be your job to contact your insurance carrier and find who will take you as a patient and then contact Dr Modells staff and hope they fax and contact the provider you have chosen. You will need to be sure to get the name, phone #, fax # and address information before you get that info to the staff as I found out after spending time back and forth with her scheduler needing more info.

Office staff are so rude and fight with each other right in front of me! The doctor is not that well versed in my condition. I know more. She gave me a drug that will actually make my condition worse.but I caught it. I would go to UW docs. As I'm doing. Scary that these bad docs are able to stay in practice.

I had a really hard time getting responses from the doctor despite repeated calls. She took over a month to return paperwork to my insurance. Also, she omitted issues on my MRI when reviewing it. I was very disappointed, given her rating on here.
