Dr. Elliott Cohen, MD

My experience was as follows: He lied to me when he told me that unless he performed invasive surgery on me and attempted to clear a blockage, I would not be accepted into the in-vitro fertilization program. Following the surgery, he performed another procedure on me without following the proper sterilization procedures of a device inserted inside me. The next day I was admitted to the hospital with a severe infection, high fever and a partially obstructed bowel. I was there for a week. It took me over a year to recover from all of his attempts to "help" me. I later found out that the whole nightmare could have been avoided by either not having any procedures done by him (since IVF makes no demands for having surgery first) or at the very least, having the same procedure done through laparoscopy by a doctor who was capable. He has been sanctioned in the past and I HAVE NEVER BEEN THE SAME.

Dr Cohen, is an excellent Dr. Had the best prenatal care out of any Dr!!!! He delivered my son Dustin j Waite on 12/20/06
