He did a "linx procedure" (for gastric reflux) on my sister close to TWO months ago, and she hasn't kept one bit of food down since. It was too tight so he had to go back in and loosen it. The device won't let her get any food down. Literally. Nothing. She is miserable and looks like death. She isn't even 40 years old! He has admitted her twice to the hospital where he couldn't be bothered to see her but once, and he sent his nurse once and that was it. They had to use an ultrasound to put the IV in her bicep area because she is so dehydrated! The nurses at the hospital sat at the nurse station watching cat videos on TikTok while her call light was on for over an hour. Which is typical OhioHealth, so that's not surprising. But this doctor's lack of care is off the charts! He said he has never had a patient react so badly. You would think he would monitor her extra close because of that! He sent her home and said he doesn't know. She is seriously suffering under this doctor's care!!!!!!

Because of Dr. Elwood Martin's advice, I was able to over come a case of Barretts in my esophagus. I am very grateful for his wise advice and continue to follow it carefully. I have not seen him in approximately 5 years because he moved to another area.

Dr. Martin did two surgeries, a femoral hernia and the Nissan/Hiatal hernia. He did an excellent Job on the surgeries. He listens to what you say and follows though afterward. I had complications due to anesthesia that jeopardized my 2nd surgery, no fault of Dr Martin, and he was concerned and stuck with me till I got through. His assistant, Mendy was very good and helpful if you had any questions. Office staff is not good on getting him messages.

Dr. Martin is the best Dr. I have ever seen. I would trust him with my life. He is an expert in his field, spent a lot of time with me and explained my condition to me in a way that I could understand it. He is passionate about his job and I do believe he cares about his patients. He listens! I would recommend everyone to him and have already done so with many.
