Highly Recommend
Dr. Younan is a very kind, compassionate and empathetic provider. He stated that he would care for me and make recommendations as if I were family. That really hit home to me and made me confident in his care and plan for me. I highly recommend.

Second opinion
I turned to Dr Younan for a second opinion after a doctor at Mass General had told me I needed an operation. I am 86 and was not eager to go under the knife. Dr. Younan told me that the operation would not help with the problems that I was having and that I shouldn’t have the operation. I was very grateful for his expertise.

I felt at ease and confident as soon as Dr Younan walked in the room and sat down across from me. He had good eye contact and was very professional. In short order he knew the best next step for me. I am a retired RN and would highly recommend him.

Lovely Doctor
Dr. Younan was very kind to me when I was in a lot of pain. He took time to talk with me and worried when my insurance would not cover the procedure. He was very patient and honest. His staff got me in quickly for appointment and were all very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend him!

Very happy with Dr Younan and staff
I want to say that I had 2 procedures (same each time RF ablation) on my back for arthritis. The first time only lasted for a short period and the Dr said that may happen. The second procedure has been a huge success. I have been pain free now for over a year. The Dr, his office staff, and the surgical day care were wonderful. I will recommend this Dr anytime.

Had an epidural injection today
The receptionist Lisa was very pleasant, cheerful, friendly and professional Dr Younan spent time explaining the procedure. I had some numbness in my leg after the procedure and he allayed my fears and had me sit in the procedure room until it wore off. He checked on me frequently, told my husband in the waiting room why I was delayed and personally walked me to my husband in the waiting room when I was ready.. His calm demeanor and caring attitude is a huge plus in this hectic, impersonal world. I have every confidence in the world being treated by him

I was left with a spinal cord injury when Dr Younan placed the catheter to a baclofen pump through my spinal cord. 10 years later and numerous hospitalizations later and I’m confined to a wheelchair permanently.

I had an MRI of my spine several months ago and never received any feedback from any provider - MD or nurse but more importantly, I tried to make a follow up appointment and the person who was on the phone with me was mean with poor attitude - it's Friday, I know but I have a lot of pain. I am a nurse, myself and understand health care, completely!

This doctor is unprofessional and disrespectful! I went to a appointment for cortisone shots and he refused to do the procedure because I refused to answer whether ive been vaccinated or not and he refused to explain to me why he needed to know! He does not respect your privacy! When I returned home I called the surgical center to complain and they said he needed to know because they can't do cortisone shots to close to the vaccine shot. Apparently there is a 48 hour window! Instead of being rude and unprofessional why don't you ask if I've had the vaccine shot in the last 48 hours, that question i would have answered but its noone business whether I've been vaccinated in general! He took an oath to take care of people, imagine your in boatloads of pain and dr younan refuses a procedure over such a ridiculous reason! Then he tells me to call his office and reschedule? Whats the point to that?Use another doctor this guy likes to play games! Can you say civil rights violation!

Dr Younan and his staff are ineffective and totally lack compassion. He just wants to give as many shots as he can and he did not follow through with what he told me he would. He met with me briefly and did not listen

My impression of Dr. Younan was great. He seemed attentive, polite overall extremely nice till his office booked my facet injections. The procedure was booked and I was never asked if I was on any medications. I had to call them and let them know that I am on blood thinners and should I stop taking them? My record is on patient gateway. Shouldn’t they have checked before they booked the procedure? Very very careless. I am not sure who’s fault it was. Maybe his, maybe his staff but the point is that he could of hurt me really bad. I ended up canceling the procedure, couldn’t trust him.

Never Again: I was assigned to Dr. Younan by The Northshore Surgical Center for an epidural steroid injection following lumbar surgery.I found Dr. Younan pleasant and interested at my first procedure. The shot had minimal effect (not his fault). He proceeded to do 3 injections over a 6 week period which my current doctor is appalled at. After that he said to my face "There's nothing i can do for you" . Truth is you are of no use to me because I can't bill you for anymore procedures.
