I had a great experience with my lasek surgery with Dr.Chynn. I’m 6 months post-op and have better than 20 20 vision already! I followed all of the recuperation guidelines and everything went smoothly. Dr.Chynn definitely knows what he’s doing! I highly recommend him.

Incredible experience - went from 20 50 to 20 20 in 20 seconds with Lasek.Also love the fact that there was no cutting involved so I felt super calm and safe! Dr Chynn’s procedure ensures no cornea flap which was important for me. Life is so much better now.

Before Dr. ChynnI had a stigmatism had to wear glasses or contacts after doing an extensive research on lasek and ophthalmologist. I found Dr. Chynn and park ave Lasek . I noticed that he perfected the procedure.Had my consultation with him and his team they made me feel comfortable. Wonderful place with wonderful doctor Emil Chyn. Everything done fast and with perfect treatment me as a person! I know that Emil made a lot for Ukrainians at the beginning of war and alot right now.. I'm highly recomended this place to anyone who have eye problems or anything else as well as help for Ukrainians. Let's list some thing i know he is done for Ukrainians: donated the 1st CXL machine to treat KC to Lviv 10 years ago, had 2 Ukrainian eye doctors working for he's clinic on park Avenue for a combined 8 years, then during the war brought medical aid physically into ukraine twice, & sponsored U4U visas for 4 people to get them out of Ukraine & gave them jobs in nyc - that's only a part of what i know.. !

The staff were friendly and very helpful. They took time to explain procedures before and after the surgery. Very timely and professional.

I did my procedure for cross linking and LASEK. lasek is a safer newer noncutting version of lasik. Dr Chynn and the other doctors at his practice are very knowledgeable and accommodating.

I had my LASEK and LASIK about 15 years ago. I still see 20/20 and could not be happier.

I did LASEK procedure two months ago. Today I received my graduation certificate to celebrate my new vision. My original vision was OD -1.5 and OS -2 with some astigmatism. Now I can see everything very clear without grasses. My new vision is even better than 20/20! I am very grad that I overcome my fears and did the procedure. Dr Chynn & his lasek procedure has changed my life. I am a film producer, who struggled with poor vision for over 30 years. Dr. Chynn was great. He's very strict and detail oriented, so to some this is offputting. But if you want a great doc who is going to get top tier results. Go with this guy. I'm seeing 20/20 and my eye doctor couldn't even tell my eyes were operated on!

Dr. Chynn has saved my eyes and my life. Due to my bad vision I had a very low self-esteem. As a ballet dancer I had to wear glasses for practice and wore nothing going on a stage, back in 90s contacts were not available in Eastern Europe. After I had arrived in States in 2010, I was very determined to fix my eyes. I was -10, also I had a lazy eye , astigmatism and some weird problem with my retina. Needles to say my mental state was horrible and I was quite depressed.
