My daughter has been trying to obtain an appointment with Dr. Matei, it is impossible. Placed a call, provided all information, was told insurance needed to be verified prior to making an appointment. Called numerous times since, still no appointment. Continue to state "you're on the list" "you will be contacted tomorrow" Months later, still no response or appointment. Very unprofessional.

The best doctor around and his staff is the bomb. Very professional and efficient. Dr. Matei performed my gallbladder removal yesterday and I feel great today. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience. You guys rock!!!!

I had my surgery 2 weeks ago with Dr. Matei, best decision of my life. He’s the greatest surgeon, he made me feel so comfortable and so safe about the whole process, he absolutely saved my life. I’m forever grateful and he is the about best surgeon. I’ve never been so happy.

Dr Matei Is an incredible surgeon. Him and his staff have an extensive training and are very knowledgeable everyone is more than happy to answer any questions that you have and put your mind at ease before surgery . This is a team that believes in bariatric surgery and they believe in each other. Thank you Dr Matei, Edith, Anne, and most importantly Karla because without your help and guidance this process wouldn’t have gone as smooth as it did. I am forever greatful.

Excellent surgeon!! Recently has VSG and pain is subsiding already . I? feel fuller faster but with minimum side effects. Dr. Matei’s bedside manners are unbelievable!!! Day of surgery, if you have an jitters, he comes around pre- procedure to alleviate all! Team Matei is the best!
