Mission Impossible
I have been trying to schedule a colonoscopy with Dr. Battle for nearly four months and still don’t have a appointment scheduled. I have been told that Dr. Battle is very good, however, in my opinion, whoever handles her scheduling is totally incompetent. They say they will call you back, but never do.

My mother died of colon cancer so screening is very important to me. When it came time for my screening colonoscopy, I wanted someone I could trust would take the time to do the exam right. I knew, without a doubt, that Dr. Battle had the skill, knowledge and patience to do a thorough exam for me. I recommend her to all of my friends and family. She really cares about her patients and doing her best for everyone she sees.

Dr. Battle is best! She's treating me for abdominal bloating and it's been an journey through different tests and procedures to determine the source. Dr. Battle is patient, she's a great listener, and she's great at explaining the why, what, and how of everything regarding my treatment.

I needed a new gastroenterologist and was referred to Dr Battle. She was very professional, yet caring and her staff are all so very nice as well. I've had other family members go to her since and they all feel very comfortable with her knowledge and operative skills too.

I was very impressed with Dr Battle (and Thomas Memorial). Dr Battle answered all my questions and gave me lots of info. The other people who provided my care were great too (Sonya, Lynn and Carla to name a few - wish I’d remembered all the names.) very professional and caring group of care providers.

This is literally the worst office in the world to get an answer from. I was referred for a colonoscopy by my PCP, and mind you Dr. Battle did one on me before, so I am not a new patient. I have called 3 times, been transferred and left messages, and have not heard a work back. They won't even give me the courtesy of telling me if the appointment is in the works. At this point, I wouldn't go there for any reason.

Dr. Battle is an angel, amazing in every avenue of her medical abilities! She has been my doctor since Nov. 2000. I truly believe she is one of the best doctors around! She treats a person as though their opinion really mean something. I was pretty sick when I became a patient and Dr. Battle has stood by me through everything I've been through. I just want to thank Dr. Battle, not only for the medical support but emotional as well! Thank you Dr. Battle for all you have done for me!
