Dr. Emily Hagn, MD

I just googled this doctor's name to refer her to a friend. I was shocked to see that some had left a poor review (perhaps the same person twice). As a burn victim, I had multiple doctors tending to my care. I only felt close with a handful. Dr Hagn troubleshooted my pain and figured out what had me so uncomfortable faster than all the others. She created a plan for me and felt like a true friend when I felt at my lowest. I needed her and will always be grateful for her.

Dr. Hagn is one of the coldest, most indifferent, uncaring "doctors" I've EVER encountered. Very unengaged, couldn't get answers out of her, suggested bizarre inpatient care. When I asked what her role would be in my care, she curtly replied that she wouldn't have any involvement. One of the worst doctors I've ever encountered...and that's going quite a long way for being run through the worst the medical system has to offer for over 40 years! AT ALL COSTS, AVOID THIS "DOCTOR" AND THE U OF U PAIN CLINIC.! The clinic stinks, very unprofessional...I can't see how ANYONE gets ANY help there. DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THIS WOMAN. IT'S A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. In my opinion she's not worthy to practice. It's like talking to a stone wall. If there was a negative rating number I would certainly give it to her!

No bedside manner no sypathy very cold.Only interested in having me do spine injections even after I told her I've seen 5 back Doctors including the one she suggested me to go see and all of the back Doctors told me they would not even attempt the procedure because it would paralize me and since these doctors all told me I would never walk again and I spent a year in a nursing home learning to walk again they all said they would not even recommend physical therapy waste of money.

Dr. Hagn is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. She's smart, sensitive to her patients problems, and CARES about them. Not all doctors do these days.

She left most of the work to a fellow and a PT, who examined me in a rather embarrassing fashion. I only saw her for about five minutes, in which she treated me like I was a junkie looking for pills, lectured me (the exact lecture the fellow had given me), and told me just to go back to physical therapy and that there was nothing they could do for me. When I asked questions, she was dismissive and showed no empathy. I left their office humiliated and in tears.
