Dr. Jacobs has been my eye doctor for several years now and she also performed cataract surgery on both my eyes and I can't recommend her strongly enough. Extreme dry eyes led me to Miller Ophthalmology Associates, LLC and to Dr. Emily Jacobs specifically. She patiently listened to my concerns and took time to address each one. After thoroughly assessing my condition, she recommended Miboflo, thoroughly explained the procedure, what to expect upon completion and most importantly, that it is painless. The procedure consists of three treatments per eye. After each treatment, Dr. Jacobs removed clogging from the glands thus enabling lubrication to once again flow to the surface of both eyes. Several months after the procedure, Dr. Jacobs informed me that the clogged glands had remained open, and my eyes had improved significantly. I now use a computer, watch television, and read without discomfort. I completely recommend Dr. Jacobs to anyone in need of cataract and lasik surgery. I have age-related macular degeneration and was terrified of having surgery to remove the cataract and insert a lens. I was so amazed after the first surgery that I scheduled surgery for the other eye as soon as it was recommended. Long story short, I now have better than 20/20 vision in both eyes and only need over- the- counter glasses for reading only. My night vision is perfect and I have no more problems driving at night. Dr. Jacobs is thorough and meticulous and answers any and all questions you have. She explains all the steps necessary before surgery and all of the steps to follow after surgery. The surgery center is great and they can even provide transportation if you need it. She is truly an asset to her profession.

Dr. Jacobs treated my wife performing two corneal transplants one in each eye. My wife's earlier bout with glaucoma made these surgeries more complex and difficult than might otherwise have obtained. It is a tribute to her skill, intellect, patience and caring that she has brought my wife through to a sighted future. All that an an absolutely lovely person to boot.
